The disaster before halftime

We should have traded Barber in the offseason to start Choice, IIRC.

Has any team ever tried a halftime hail mary from their own 35 yard line?
I don't think I've ever seen it. Other than in the 4th quarter with seconds to go and down by 7....no.

To me it was terrible luck. I know the play shouldn't have been run but how many times does something like that happen. I don't recall ever seeing a play like what happened to Choice happen. The ball bounced perfectly to Hall when mos to the time that ball probably goes out of bounds or something.

Happened to the cowboys with Ryan Leaf or Stoerner QB in early 2000s.

Never seen it happen anywhere else - maybe the Herman edwards Pizarcek kneel down fumble, but that was the right call human mistake. Never seen a 75 yd bomb down by 3 with 7 seconds to half.

I do recall the raven game in 08 where we threw a bomb from the 20 and ed reed picked it off (good as punt :)) then they kick a FG which put us 2 possesions down and thus began a bad omen for the rest of that game, offseason, etc.

It is hard if not impossible to justify

*** was Wade/Garrett thinking??? YOU TAKE A ****ING KNEE and go into half time down THREE points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
