Lost in the excitement around here is the fact that this team has only accomplished getting where they've been 4 times in the last 11 years and they are 0-4 when they get there.

2007: N.Y. Giants L 21-17
2009: Minnesota L 34-3
2014: Green Bay L 26-21
2016: Green Bay L 34-31

I don't know about you but I'm tired of being lumped in with the Commanders and Lions as the longest drought of Championship game appearances.

We are 60 minutes away at a chance to play for a Super Bowl appearance. Our 9th. Is this the team to do it or are they just like all the rest?

This is all that matters to me because if they simply do on Saturday night what the others have done recently then this season, as entertaining as it's been, is just more of the same.

All playoff games are season defining but this one is state of the franchise defining.

Can they do it?

I have my doubts but you knew that already.

I think they can, but it will take some great play by several of our personnel groups.

The DL needs to get to Goff early and rattle him. Our two young LBs need to somewhat contain Gurley. And of course, your boy Dak needs to have a good game using his legs and pass for over 200 yards.

I think to win on the road in the playoffs you have to win the turnover battle.

All that said, the 7 point line sounds too high to me.

I see some of this stuff. "We already exceeded our expectations so I'm good" or "I never thought we would get here so anything else is gravy". Well that's a bunch of C#@P and I'm not satisfied until we win the SB.
The 2nd place ribbon is over there on the asthma field.

Been going back and forth with my boy about this for almost a month now..you hit the nail on the head..we both agreed that if this team wanted to differentiate itself from the other teams in recent past, advancing to the nfccg at a minimum was required..didn't matter what the path was or which opponents they had to defeat..last weeks win vs Seattle was nice..but a loss Saturday would be more of the same..

This game is franchise defining...absolutely

I hope that the media continues their trend of belittling the Cowboys and calling our team overrated, saying our defense isn't that good, etc. We do so much better when we feel disrespected. As soon as we get some positive press we "smell the cheese" and get all cocky, at least that is our recent history. Time to buck the trend.

Depends on which Cowboys team shows up in that can be split into three parts or even four or five take your pic, I'm very excited for the opportunity but at the same time very worried

In means the difference for posting on here for the next year too.
What will be be....a success and something to look forward to, or the same old same old for the next year.

They big question is, do some of the posters want the same old as it fits their agendas.
