The dominoes and fallout of last night

I don't get how people can continually doubt this man after all he's shown us.

Still waiting for a great game against a top-tier defense.

He handles the dregs of the league well when we're running for 180 yards, but when the run game is slowed, he can't throw us down the field against good defenses.

Not yet anyway.

Don't misunderstand, I love the guy and his potential. Thrilled we have him. But so far, he's got a helluva lot to prove. Big numbers against non-elite teams is not what I'm looking for.

which group has the good defense? The eagles and the giants when healthy except the giants are not healthy.

the chiefs have the worst defense we will have played so far this year.

If that's the case then Dak should carve them up pretty nicely. Maybe we have a chance,,,

I have to agree,,, Dak still struggles with decent defenses and it's a concern,,, albeit a small one. He is only in his second year after all. Hopefully the accuracy and speed of reading defenses will come.

Dak was 9/10 for 105 yards before the heavy rain and wind started, and soaked the ball making it difficult to throw. I fault Dak and the coaching staff for not practicing with water-soaked balls, as we've seen Brady do this countless times.

However, Dak is the least of my worries for the upcoming 6 games. It's all about keeping some terrific offenses under 30pts.

Take a heap of bitterness, add in a dash of bias, an extra helping of agenda, mix with abject stupidity. Voila you've got yourself a Cowboys Zone stew baby.
Sorry, can't hear you in your 70s hip-hugging Cowboys cheerleader uniform behind those pom-poms.

Check out the Pittsburgh game from last year. They finished top ten in PPG and he went 22/32 for 319 and 2 TDs.

or the Rams game if you want one from 2017. Yes, we lost (bc of our defense) but they are 11th in PPG and Dak went 20/36 for 252 and 3TDs

Dak won at Pittsburgh, at Minnesota and home vs philly and baltimore. All very good defenses.

Most of the KC fans think we are going to roll them even without Zeke. Yet we have "Cowboys' fan" like erod who think our season is over even before playing a down without Zeke.

He was good against Pittsburgh, when the Steelers lost their fourth consecutive game. He was terrible against Minnesota. He was horrificly bad against Philly until the last drive. (I think he had about 80 yards passing middle of the 4th quarter). Baltimore was trash.

ok buddy.

What does that have to do with their defense? Moving the goal posts?

If you think the Steelers defense was good last year, I can't help you.

Miami steamrolled them. So did Philly. They improved later on, but when you get to play the Brows twice and the Jets, it rather pads your numbers.

Here's the fallout of Zeke's suspension moving forward in my opinion....

1. If Zeke does anything else, he's gets a full year suspension now. (He has six weeks coming all by himself to his own devices, so yikes.)

2. As I understand it from local reporters, the guaranteed money in Zeke's contract is no longer guaranteed. This is actually GREAT for Dallas if #1 happens.

3. I think this may doom Goodell from an extension. There will be a massive showdown between Jerry's gang and Mara's gang.

4. If Jerry wins, look for a lawsuit from Goodell.

5. Dak Prescott must now be the focus of the offense. Not sure he's ready for that, but we'll know in six weeks.

6. The Cowboys' 2017 season is, for all intents and purposes, over. Time to start thinking free agency and draft. (EDIT: The Cowboys are certainly in the wild card hunt, but the NFC East is lost.)

If Zeke gets accused of anything DV related he's banned for life.

OK, the rams this year then. 11th in PPG

And BTW, Pitt was at 21 PPG before we played them and ended up at 20 PPG which was good enough for top ten. They did not significantly improve.
