I don't know if Jerry n get are actually speaking truth when proclaiming stuff about the upcoming draft, but if they are, my gawd they are dumb.

The draft is a game, to be played w/ guile and smarts. Keep your hands close to your vest.

So, are the Jones's being stupid w/ their comments about the draft? If they are really proclaiming their draft strategy, then stupid needs some intensifiers. If not, then it doesn't really matter.

Don't you know Bellychickens just loves messing w/ the Jones's? Yeah, he was really drafting that injured LB in round 2. Or the slow TE w/ no burst in round......2. Yeah, right. Belly has everyone drafting CB's and WR's, allowing him to pick up guys like Danny Shelton, LeGarrette Blount, and Malcolm Brown on the cheap. He plays w/ the Jerry Jones types like a cat w/ a mouse. One of the craziest things I've ever seen, and the Jones's just keep falling for it. Amazing stuff.

There's two ways to go.
Dallas gets top 3 pick they keep the pick and take Sewell.
Or trade down.
Options on trade down would be
Bengals or Dolphins or Football team or Jags or a dark horse like Chargers
But all have have 2nd rounders and clear needs.
Bengals and Chargers need Olineman
Jags need everything
Dolphins could try for WR
Commanders QB?

He somehow thinks this loyalty to Prescott in the media is going to help them in the long run.

This is why he simply cannot hold all the titles he insists on holding and be effective.

He refuses to see that.

I"m cautiously optimistic K...McCarthy recently said he values talent moreso over scheme. Something along the lines of "if the player is talented we'll make the scheme" work type stuff which is EXACTLY why we should've drafted Watt over Taco and plenty of other examples in recent years. He's also a PFF guy and took his time off to get into the analytics.

I just really, really hope the Jones' can stay out of the way and let Mike and McClay do their thing. Mike's 1st draft at the helm appears to be pretty solid. Lamb is going to be a star and Diggs / Gallimore / Tyler have shown flashes that they should be able to turn into solid starters.

We also draft higher than the Pats every year, so let’s factor that into the equation. They are not a great drafting team early, but they find some late round gems. If we can use a value chart on positions, and draft better in the late rounds we would be much better off.
The Cowboys do a good job of drafting for the most part but we’ve had plenty of game changing opportunities slip between our fingers.

The Jets general manager just said Darnold is their future. We all know they are tanking for Lawrence. Be patient. We will know more about what the Cowboys are going to do when they start interviewing players at the combine.
