I honestly believe that all these dropped passes won't last all season. Whether it will be addressed or whether it smooths itself out over the season, I just have to say I don't see them lasting. That goes for Roy, Jason, Patrick, Martellus... anybody... the more this offense plays the better it will get. And that doesn't even say anything about our running game. If we could just get away from the draw, and run more traditional running plays.

Very true ! It also goes for the drops that the defenses are having when Tony is off target! 2 easy interceptions dropped Sunday! :fight:

Haha I kid I kid.

The draw plays have been some of the most successful runs this season.

And they've also been the least successful as well. When the defense blitzes inside, if the running back can't make someone miss... its a wrap.

Im not saying to cut it out all together, but mix it up with more running plays.

I see stats of dropped passes posted on the Zone from time to time. Anyone know where i can find these stats? We have to have as many drops as any team in the NFL at this point in the season.

They have. Counters, dives and off tackle runs have been mixed in. However, both the Chiefs and Falcons especially loaded up to stop the run, which helped us throw the ball more. Throwing more guys in the box to slow down the rush will do that.

I don't get what the fascination is with "traditional" running plays. The draw play is a specialty of this team, and they do it very well. I'm pretty excited whenever we run the draw play, the success ratio seems very high.
