So everyone is talking about Jerry, Jason and Dak but should we be talking more about McClay and Stephen (who could lean either way) to find the real problem? Now I am not stating that these 2 are the problem, it's pretty apparent that these 2 have a very good influence on this team. The problem lies in the battles between them all and the meddling still going on. Jerry wins some and he loses some with these guys.
1. Jerry lost out on Manziel. Thank God.
2. Jerry wins and gets Gregory. You could see the disappointment on JGs face during that pick.
3. Jerry wins and gets Jaylon. I am sure they wanted Jaylon all along but not at that second round pick.
4. Jerry lost out on Dez. Everyone here knows that Jerry wanted to and would've kept Dez. I think it was a team of JG,Stephen and Dak that wanted Dez gone but that was also before Witten left. If they knew Witten was leaving I don't think they cut Dez.
5. Jerry wins with the Cooper trade. Obviously with all these moves Jerry wins on there is backing from Stephen and McClay and I think Stephen backed this one more than McClay.
So I guess what I am saying is that while Stephen and McClay try and right this ship they are still having to deal with the number one problem which is the meddling owner. Did you guys see the Amazon special when the coaches were holding a meeting and they had to call Jerry and Stephen on a conference call so they could listen in and talk about the previous game and game planing? You think thats how 32 other teams are ran in the NFL?
It is by far the most dysfunctional front office in all of sports. How will this team ever win with the most dysfunctional front office? It won't until it is changed.
