The Eagles were in the hunt for Ramsey?

I just heard on the NFL Sirius channel that the Eagles were trying to make that trade for Jalen Ramsey until the very end. I did not hear what they were willing to give up for him, but it shows the Eagles are willing to make a big move to get a player to help their team. Ramsey is a really good player but he is not Dieon Sanders, IMO. Still, its good the Cowboys won;t have to face him twice each year.

And we made a big move last year to get a player to help our team. I wouldn’t expect that every year, we aren’t going to just waive our first round pick to take on contract year players on a regular basis. It’s not sustainable.

You have to hit on the draft. Big name players and free agents are way to expensive and too much draft capital to get them.

i honestly don’t know if he makes the eagles better.

short term, yes...but for that price? It would’ve hurt them long term and I’m guessing they agree.
