The Eberflus needs punished thread

That's no excuse for the vanilla defensive scheme we run. There is nothing going on out there to scheme up pressure? Remer when we were told you can scheme pressure? That's actually true. But it's not happening
This defense was supposed to have Parsons. You take away one of best defenders in the you are playing at a deficit.

Did anyone care to look at the absolute bums he has playing out there? I am not sure anyone in that secondary is even on another NFL roster. It was pathetic.
Yes.. so they don't need to throw it anywhere near Bland.

Flus is not getting a pass tho.

I get that, but it's no excuse for doing nothing. This defense is Saltine level of bland. There's nothing going on out there to generate pressure. Rushing 4 is suicide but they keep stepping off that chair.

Eberflus needs punished. Hmmmm. I'm not an English major, and no I don't have a Masters degree but aren't there a few words missing in your statement. "To be", maybe ?

Vance Joseph does an outstanding job as a DC wouldn’t surprise if he’s a HC next season .

Unreal how Dallas has top 3 defenses for 2 years in a row. Turns around and has 2 bottom 3 defenses in a row lol

We struggle to rush the passer with 4. I just don't understand why he doesn't call more blitzes. We are getting hit with big plays anyways just sitting back in a broken zone coverage. How about blitz the QB force some bad passes and etc.

We hit the QB one time today and had zero sacks.

Don't get me started on the run defense.
I said the exact same thing in the game thread last week. If they're going to be left wide open then what will it hurt to gamble on a blitz? It doesn't. And did you see the smug satisfaction as that piece of **** was walking off the field? He acted like he just single-handedly won the game.

Exactly, it can’t get any worse, why not blitz more?

Sanborn & Murray were never the answer . Go with James flanked by Liufau & Damone Clark . I go with Steward opposite Bland at least he competes .

I was reading a Bears forum a couple of weeks ago. Something that stood out was the common opinion that his defense won't work without a 4-man rush and a strong secondary. We have neither at this time. It make no sense to continue running basic rush schemes and dropping coverage 80% of the time when they're already getting torched. Show some spine and dial up some pressure if the current system isn't working. I just don't understand his line of thinking. They keep saying he's a good DC, but how many times do we have to allow 40 points before somebody decides that something should be done?

Over and Under how many more 40 point games will our defense give up this year.

We still have to play Kansas City, Lions, Chargers, Vikings, The Eagles again, Commanders again, The Giants again and we have the Cardinals on Monday night. I can see the Cardinals scoring 30+ on this defense.

The Broncos could have scored 50+ if they kept their starters in and kept their foot on the gas.

Not a single reason to keep him.
Not one.
Was never the best guy, just the best comfort.

Awful weak scheme, he's not even putting guys in position to make plays.

Thats scheme. Not a single player has better with his coaching.

No point in wasting another 9 weeks with this, its Mike nolan/monte kiffin level bad

FIRE HIM

Dallas could have had the best defensive coordinator in football, and it wouldn't have made any difference.

This is a deeply flawed roster on defense.

There is more to the problem on defense, but the timing of the Parsons trade was disastrous. Not only did it fail to obtain maximum value, it really hurt the defense for 2025.

Punish the GM, not the DC.
