The effects of age and Dak Prescott

So you are saying Dak has NOTHING to do with any (real or perceived) Dak failures.

AND...he still has PLENTY more to "bring to the table" that he has not yet brought.

OOOOkay.
Get real, try Naked and Afraid... :muttley:

I'll continue to do my OWN talking for your record. MVP Comparison season before the injury season makes that laughable. There is still room for improvements agreed.

Not answering for him, but, Dak is done.

Fool me once, fool me twice. Three times are over.

Sorry on you being wary, but at this point there is no other way or alternative. That presented does not also mean failure. I was a soldier and forged in fire works at any age

Dak is not a soldier, he is a football fraud. Shine his boots if you want to.

Those unforeseen injuries are bad, for sure.

I was in preparation for the start of season practices. I asked my linebacker's coach if I could get some running in and participate in his basketball class. He said sure. I went up for a rebound all by myself. I came down awkward on my ankle and it snapped. I missed the season. Believe me, I have perspective. Texas A&I

I was also at the USAF Academy and got my arm between a cut back tackle and ball carrier going opposite directions, It cracked my elbow. After the season was over, they put a cast on my arm and gave me 6 weeks of recovery.
Same thing happened to me on a jump shot in tennis. 25 years later, it will still bother me sometimes.

That no where approaches applied men values. I show respect for those assuming a mission AND fighting for those with you. Leave NO man behind.

There were many a player forged in fire before Dak.
Age and injury can render you unable to protect yourself no matter how strong your resolve.

The NFL is no place to be a couple steps slow especially when your front office is not supplying you with the ammunition to defend yourself properly by way of an offensive line and a running game.

None of us have any way of knowing how he will come back from this injury and at this point it is way too early to speculate we will see soon enough if he is able to protect himself and be effective.

Wish him luck, but root for him to have success. One other thing, Jerry has stuck with his players and committed his heart to his players through every. He actually did what he thought best to empower his team.

For that, he has at least earned this fan's respect. He tried hard and sought imput from anyone that he respected. It has been a good ride for this fan. Thank you and fellow fans for sharing football.

GO COWBOYS!!

Age is the most limitation on a position that involves or takes crushing explosive impact. Known.

That impact is what builds up upon quarterbacks. Speed is an element that has to be monitored. Monitored. The year round conditioning, diet, and directed procedures extend the playing days for players. Darrell Green, a premier runner and football player both, was out running the top runners in the NFL, up into his 40's. Age itself is not above being extended and a player's positional effectiveness retained. That is up to specific limitations or strengths of that particular player.

Non disciplined linemen are responsible for quarterbacks getting injured and accumulation of damage. Coaching staffs that don't hold accountability for penalties have groups that don't fully protect their quarterbacks!

As to quarterbacks, a reduction in risk situations extends his production. The longer a productive quarterback is in the action, he actually gets better if the team around him maintains levels of support.

Moving the ball can be fancy Dan or it can be nose to nose. Injury protection tends towards finesse and open space effectiveness. Speed kills, but team play wins.

The quarterback on the field is the offensive (hence team) leader on the carpet. But the real leadership of team is the coaching staff. They react to play on that carpet and prepare the team for game time activity and reaction to challenges. There are always negative challenges. Good teams are prepared for the effects of game changers.

Game changes are what killed Prescott as well caused failures of even good Dallas teams in playoffs. That part is the reality of football. That is what football is all about...not insults as a sideline to a fan.

Dak is far from a handicapped quarterback due to age. The thing there is a quarterback as team leader is never off the hook. He, although, has plenty of ability to bring to the table and compete.
How about the effects of age and GM Jethro.
