I hate it, I wish I would have been insanely wrong about Dak because I wanted this team to elevate extremely this year.
elevate and dak can't be in the same sentence. Elevate is whatever body else has to do to carry the dak. Why not just start Rush, the defense didn't have a hard time carrying him according to the dak bots. dak is too big of a load for the whole team to carry.

You are preaching to the choir, but the only easy way out which will never be executed is to totally embarrass Dak and throw him to the bench and hope that you can get an agreement to drop the no trade clause with a pressure tactic of disgrace, and maybe find a team dumb enough to trade for him, but everyone knows that will never be an option.

So just be prepared for the same ole same ole if Dak is just good enough to get us even sniffing post season... lol
What I expect to happen is Dak gets an opportunity to string together something, build some momentum somehow vs Chargers maybe,,, that is what Jerry and Stephen are praying for.

Honestly, and I still like Dak, I think that leg injury a few seasons ago may really have done him in. He's not as mobile as he once was, and his play wasn't good. There were a lot of times where the receivers were blanketed, but there appeared to be some openings, and missing Cooks down the sideline and the third interception were howlers. And, with his contract the way it is, the time has come to find the next QB of the Dallas Cowboys. He can't be extended unless he really turns it around and does impressive things like get to an NFCC. Until then, we need to find another QB.
Something really changed. He was never fantastic, but was good, improving, ran for first downs, and was a competent bus driver in a very good system. Don't know it it was the injury. Some might say that having Kellen Moore really hurt him because it had him throwing more, essentially featuring him. Whatever, it's clear he's not the same player as just three years ago.

So, let's dump Dak for?

But it doesn't matter who, that quarterback will be a bum shortly (according to all the "experts" here) and the cries will be loud and long "We need another quarterback!!!!!".

And on and on....

yeah, who could we find to suck like dak and get his butt kicked by good teams? the impossible search, so let's keep shaky and stay the same forever. Give him more money and get fewer people to carry him that will work. go go dakoo

when a “ franchise” Qb is given 160 million dollar contract 3 years ago, one would think that he should be featured and not hidden
incorrect, we give dak more money, then we want the team to carry him and not lose the game. This is the most novel strategy I've ever heard of for the quarterback position. That Jerry, he's trying to be Tom Landry now.
