There is a reason why Parcells said, "After I leave, you won't even know I was here."
I've read the team environment went from walking on eggshells to country club like environment once Parcells left.
Jerry supposedly hated the "fear the coach" environment Parcells had created during his stay.

This has been the case since the 90’s. These kids get on the world stage wearing the star on their helmet and feel they have earned something created by legends of the game and it gets reinforced by a media making tons of money off of the fans love for the team.

Go back no further than the Arizona game when the old “they needed a wake up game” tired excuse was used again. Next time you hear that line think to yourself…wake up from what? What have they accomplished that would necessitate an awakening from overconfidence? The media around this team are too busy trying to give this team nicknames like they are a return of the doomsday defense. How about making this team prove something on the field before letting them start another “hot boys” trend?

It's not about entitlement, or a country club atmosphere.

This is a flawed roster assembled by an amateur GM.
Parcells took Campo's team, that went 5-11 three years in a row, and went to the playoffs his first year.
It takes more than just great roster to win in the NFL. It's not like college. The difference between team's talent level is minimal in the NFL.

Sure, coaching matters - but how many coaches do you have to go through before the realization that coaching isn't the problem?

Yes, it takes more than a great roster, but this roster is flawed. That's the fault of the amateur GM.

We went through multiple coaches and players past 30 years, yet the results have been the same. The constant has been these guys and their entitlement culture.

That’s what the Cowboys have become. And it all starts at the top with the Jones with the lavish Star training facility. The lavish AT&T stadium. Holding training camp in Hollywood. The players know if Jerry loves you, you’re in. The Jones have created a culture of entitlement. This in turn has created what we saw today. A soft team. All throughout the organization. It it doesn’t change, which it won’t for the foreseeable future, this team will continue to shrink when the going gets tough. I’ve never seen such a soft team as what was out there tonight.
Give up quitter.

Been saying it for years
Just like with Garrett.
Jerry is the root but Dak and Mccarthy and Quinn all need to go
Thanx for finally waking up

This is the same team that sat Deuce Vaughn in the third preseason game, a 6th round pick got sat like he was a star. So yea, entitlement is a huge issue with this team

That isn't on mark...this is on the coaching staff that are too smart to be good for their players. Then holding them to leadership elements.

No, this is in the hands of the Head Coach...Jerry gave him the team. Talkie - smalkie...this is the place Mike McCarthie doesn't look dumb. It is in his lap and I hope that another Wade Phillips. C'mon coach. Hold 'em accountable. Get 'em past this.

You forgot to mention the fans because we continue to buy into the crap and make them into something they are not, CONTENDERS.
