That’s what the Cowboys have become. And it all starts at the top with the Jones with the lavish Star training facility. The lavish AT&T stadium. Holding training camp in Hollywood. The players know if Jerry loves you, you’re in. The Jones have created a culture of entitlement. This in turn has created what we saw today. A soft team. All throughout the organization. It it doesn’t change, which it won’t for the foreseeable future, this team will continue to shrink when the going gets tough. I’ve never seen such a soft team as what was out there tonight.
I would agree...except for one thing. All these facilities aren't that great. They might think they are....but really...there are rumors they are already getting ready for major renovations @ the stadium. That damn tv screen is an eye sore...along with the sun glare problems.

Don't forget the $100 AT&T Stadium pizza.

What’s really concerning too is. Football is a game about toughness. Not just physical toughness but mental toughness.

The cowboys showed zero mental toughness tonight. None, nada, zilch.

That’s scary as a fan.
What's worse is how this loss is going to affect the whole locker room mentally.

It has to be a very hopeless feeling to be beaten down by the team that you absolutely need to get past to go any further in the tournament three times in a row in embarrassing fashion.

The confidence of this team has to be at a very low ebb at this point and I'm not sure if they can rebound back from it

Just at the haters like you. And guess who’s overrun the board today? All the haters like you. Enjoy the loss.
Yeah, only "losers", "quitters", and "haters" would think that maybe, just maybe, after 28 years of trying these to two self-appointed jokers can't build a SB winner.

It's funny that you started this thread. You had a moment of clarity, but apparently felt guilty about it and went back into defense mode. It was fun while it lasted.

Jerry's first job out of college was as an Executive Vice President of an insurance company called Modern Security Life.....owned by his father. This was after he failed as a franchise owner of a group of Shakey's Pizza Parlors. He had purchased the restaurants from a one million dollar loan he got from Jimmy Hoffa's Teamsters Union.

Jerry experienced several other business failures including one to purchase the Chargers using money from a loan he was able to secure from the same source as before.

However, Jerry was eventually able to find success from an oil exploration business, Jones Oil and Land Lease.

How does a young Jerry Jones earn the opportunity to receive a million dollar loan from a union.....twice? What collateral did he have? This obviously stemmed from his father's backing and reputation.

Mentioning this should earn some accusations of jealousy in more entertaining phrases, "blatant hatred", "dripping green envy", etc.

However, I feel a sense of pity for someone who could never appreciate the work, commitment and sacrifice of those who attained success strictly on their own merits. It's no wonder that Jerry doesn't seem to understand the value of having something that didn't have to be bought in some way.

https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profo...-anything-known-to-man-to-get-in-a-super-bowl

Jones said he would write a check to win another Super Bowl, if that was possible, repeating something he has said often the past few years. He once stated he would pay $250 million to buy a Super Bowl.

How could you value something that you paid for and didn't earn? How could you be proud of a success due to an unfair, unequal advantage? I suppose you could if it has been the only kind of success you've ever known. Unfortunately, it is this philosophy that guides our Dallas Cowboys.

Entitlement owner/GM, entitlement team.

For the youngsters on the board........Years ago, the Buddy Ryan-led Eagles were punking the 'Boys on a regular basis, with brutality and bounties. On a Monday night in the old Veterans Stadium, the 'Boys went into Philly and competed. Eagles were prohibitive favorites again, as they should have been. Around the same time Eagles had previously punished Washington with a beatdown of ALL their active QBs, resulting in Brian Mitchell (KR) taking snaps.

'Boys lost the game but gave Philly the business. In that game, there was no more punking of the 'Boys. It was a competitive game and took all of Philly's efforts to win a close game. And though the 'Boys lost, they finally competed.....and it showed the viewers and themselves......"We are coming". The rest was history, as the SBs soon followed, and the end result was a beat down of the Eagles in Dallas. Soon Big E (Erik Williams) had the great Reggie White whining on a regular basis, about holding only to hear the Ref say, "He just blocking you, Reggie." Unfortunately, on Sunday, we got hit in the nose and chose to run home to Momma. Saw no fight by anybody. And that is the big hurdle. It's not on the easy target named Dak......it's the obvious........No heart is visible on this team. None!!

And it seems there hasn't been heart on this team for a long time. That's why the team's been dead for 28 years.

The Jones are the problem. I’ve said it many times and have never backed away from that. Not sure what **** you’re trying to start. Especially as a mod.

Just look at all you losers happily gloating after a loss. You’re not a fan. Just a troll of some sorts.
Gloating in the sense that this was all so predictable. We weren't stupid fools like you thinking that just because they slap a star on their helmet or their shirt or jacket means they are gonna rule the world. We were smart fans who understand the dynamics at play with a meddling owner whose ego makes him incapable of rational decisions. An owner, whose desire to be known as a football genius limits him in so many ways including hiring a retread like McCarthy because no hot shot, young, brilliant coach wants to work in this environment. An owner, who has ridiculous loyalty to players not because that player is really good or that he likes the player, but mostly because he needs to be seen as the brilliant football guy who picked all these players. To him, being right on a player is the most important thing to him as he thinks it builds his case as a great GM.

Sunday night was not a surprise. Nor will another fruitless season. The team is a collection of players, not a team, led by a GM who is clueless, a HC that only has a job because Jerry needed a puppet, a QB who got overpaid and likely is going to get extended/restructured. They have just enough to win some games but not nearly enough to be a real threat.

And people have been saying this for years. You *****ed and whined and moaned about how wrong they were. You look dumb now.

Can't fight when the other side is monumentally more talented than you are.

You are wrong. And you’re a sniffly little quitter. Enjoy your negative life.
