I was listening to a Dallas Cowboys podcast and they are already talking about how the Gilmore injury made Dan Quinn change his defense because he couldn't play man coverage with a hurt shoulder. So we played a bunch of zone for the first time and of course it got burnt. They were talking like Dan Quinn had no choice and he did his best. I'm sick of the Cowboys media having to cater to Jerry and makes excuses for why this team always fails.

This defense is built to play with the lead. All of our linebackers are undersized, our DTs are not that good. When Overshown comes back, he's just gonna be another undersized linebacker. Clark is Jaylen Smith 2.0. Quit trying to turn DBs into linebackers. Quinn can get his bald a** out of here

What a bunch of garbage. If Gilmore was that hurt he shouldn't have played.

Also doesn't explain the run defense problems.

Tired of all the excuses year after year after year. Quinn should have been fired shortly after the game ended. But not here. Dallas is satisfied with being just "good" and accountability does not exist, top to bottom.

That is such a lame excuse. We weren't matched up against Tyreek and Waddle or any ridiculous wrs corps. If Gilmore couldn't go they should have put in another player who is paid to do the job. It became very obvious the zone wasn't working.

Quinn is as good as gone so no need to worry about him. Question is do we fire Big Mike and if so, who would can we get to replace him that could lead us to the playoffs next year?

No different than Dak in the Philly game 3 years ago. If his injury is so serious that it completely inhibits player, have him sit.
I have no issue with not sitting them. In both instances they tried to play differently then typically do. I just saw Philly last night do the same thing. If Hurts is hurt why are you not running the ball when your team is built on it? I just don't get these coaches man.

Ok, let me get this straight? Gilmore is cleared to play but because of his shoulder he cannot play man-to-man D. You mean to tell me that one of our healthy CB reserves is not a better option then Gilmore looking lost playing Zone? I want to speak with Mr. Paul Harvey. Good day..........
