Excuses for Dan Quinn?
His defense gave us every opportunity to go to the championship game LAST SEASON. LOL

The guy was handed absolute garbage 2 seasons ago and turned it into a top unit.
Yes we need excuses.

Last 3 years in playoffs teams just run the ball right at us. It's been the same method to victory. 3 chances to fix it, and still can't do anything about it.

Please get this fraud outta here. Pathetic. Gonna have to retool the entire defense because we wasted so much capital in this idiots scheme and philosophy.

This is why I say trade 11 to wherever this doofus ends up and get a bunch of draft capital for him so we can retool it for the next guy. Unfreaking believable.

If Quinn is arguing that he had to change the entire defense because one guy had a bad shoulder, then he deserves to be fired just for that alone. Is he telling me that playing man with Mukuamu or Wright would have been worse than what we saw Sunday? I'd rather the Packers beat us with our sub corners at least in the vicinity of those passes than watching wide open receivers catch floating desperation passes for big gains. And btw, that doesn't explain why the run defense was awful and he was playing 6 DBS against 12 personnel.

I would not hire Dan Quinn to coach little league at this point. He was totally exposed in a humiliating defeat.

Right on schedule:

-Loss
-Jerry angry
-Media sucked in
-Quiet at HQ
-McCarthy/Jones lets someone go as the scapegoat
-Draft
-“Best I’ve felt about our roster for as long as I’ve owned the Cowboys”
So this is the definition of insanity!

Always next man up. If they played man then maybe our weak pass rush could have put some pressure on him. Instead anytime he needed a 1st down he just threw to middle of the field. Always wide open with 3 guys standing around to make the tackle after the catch.

It sure takes a lot of discipline to stand there 3 yards away and know where the ball is going but wait for the guy to come to you or catch the ball right in front of you and then react.

if the plan is to keep #11 at end i would rather just trade him, its too obvious that all you need to do to him is run at him when he is at an End position...now if we go to more of an off the ball guy please keep him as he is a great player.

I was listening to a Dallas Cowboys podcast and they are already talking about how the Gilmore injury made Dan Quinn change his defense because he couldn't play man coverage with a hurt shoulder. So we played a bunch of zone for the first time and of course it got burnt. They were talking like Dan Quinn had no choice and he did his best. I'm sick of the Cowboys media having to cater to Jerry and makes excuses for why this team always fails.
Many on this board were giving his defense a free pass throughout the season and blaming the offense. Both were terrible against the Packers, but the offense did score the most points in the league. Once the defense started to play real teams, they folded.

There are no linebackers on the roster. They never replaced the 2 that went to IR. Someone signed off that idea.

Take away defense scores and they did not score the most points in the league. Bland has a record setting 5 TDs of INTs that count towards offensive scoring. The Cowboys gage had the top scoring offense for 3 years now in large part because of defense lead the league two years in a row in TOs generated and was top again this year.

It’s also because we have Aubrey who allowed Dallas to be more aggressive offensively..
