I know it's just one week but when we get fully healthy with Rat & Spencer and in game shape with Waters there are gonna be several expendable guys who we need to replace to add real contributors to this team.

David Arkin- After next week if Waters is ready, Arkin needs to get his walking papers.

Kyle Wilbur- did he even play a snap tonite?

Darrion Weems- we already have 1 project tackle.

Danny McCray- Jeff Heath was pretty good in my eyes on special teams tonite.

Cole Beasley- he might not be active 1 game this season. I like Cole and wish him success but we're gonna need real contributions.

Thoughts and who do you want to see replaced and replaced with?

Beasley would have been active tonight if the Cowboys knew the Giants defensive game plan. Williams needs to spend time inactive since Harris can do the job better than him right now and Beasley provides underneath threat which would have been huge today

Beasley would have done alot more for this offense tonight than T Will did. They need to switch up the inactives next week, imo.

I'm sure they will with Rayford and Beasley/5th CB? I'm not trying to down this team with this thread I just think there is better talent on the waiver wire than some of the guys we have as depth.

I think Austin could have had a much bigger game had they put him on the outside and let him burn the Giants CB's down the sidelines.

Sure he had 10 grabs, but only for 70 some yards. Gotta get him the ball downfield at some point and use his speed.

Williams will do better as the season progresses and he needs the game reps to do that. He made a major mistake tonight that could have cost the game, but it didn't so it is a really good teaching tool. I bet he never makes that mistake again.

But to answer the original question, I'm sure the Cowboys have a plan, and somebody will be released. Wilbur played, but did practically nothing. When Spencer comes back, I think Selvie will back up both sides. With Rayford on the team, Wilbur might be a gonner, if not this week, soon. And, they have to add another CB. When Claiborne went out, every CB on the team was on the field. One of the reasons Manning was lighting it up was because there were no extra DBs to bring in on obvious passing downs. So, because it is after the first game, there are no longer guaranteed season salaries for veteran players, so I expect a veteran CB to be added this week. I think Moore will be back and Weems will be waived and put on the practice squad. Arkin was active over Weems today.
