They said he was a wasted pick, too handsy, too many penalties. The prior year, they criticized the selection of Micah Parsons.

Well, "they" have been dead wrong. Tyler Smith is a stud offensive lineman showing flashes of a young Tyron Smith and performing better than Larry Allen in his first year. Barring injury, he will be another perennial All-Pro. He has boosted and elevated the OL.

Very worthy of a number one pick!!!! And to that, you all should say AMEN!!!

The position flex is what puts him over the top, to me. He's been playing well in both spots. So now we don't really have to fret over a injury to Tyron every year.

I have to admit. I didn't want him moved back to G, if/when Tyron comes back to game shape. Now, I'm excited about the possibility of him playing next to Tyron. That's gonna be really stout.

After his blocking downfield on the Pollard TD run. I posted...if the new #73 is reminds anyone of the HOF #73.....

Way too early, but looks pretty dang good.
Not his first time doing that, either.

Yea, I posted earlier that this FO has a cheat code when it comes to linemen in the first.
He's made me eat crow, happily.
