With Weeden as QB it isn't a Faux hurry up... you must replace the a-u-x with u-c-k.

I don't think it was the hurry up, I think it was the spread formation. We tried to go hurry up, or at least no huddle, earlier in the game. We were still snapping the ball with maybe 7 seconds to go on the play clock. We were not huddling, but it didn't hurry things up too much and Weeden didn't have any better success. Once we spread it out with an empty backfield Weeden seemed to find guys more readily.

Have to agree, he looked better when we went 5 wide yesterday, just did not do it enough.

I'd be fine going with 5 wide out of the shotgun more often. Even when we run, do it from a spread formation. If that's what it takes to make Weeden comfortable, do it.

What has Cassell done since 2010?

It'd be one thing if Weeden was costing us game with interceptions, but he's not. Nobody on this team can get open except Witten and the OL has been trash in the run game all year. You rely on a backup QB to have to win games for you then you probably will lose.

So the receivers don't get open for only Weeden but are open for Romo? Yeah, that must be it. Weeden doesn't bring us wins. Next!

Yeap I don't like running from the spread but like you said if that's what it takes do it.
