The film doesn’t fit the narrative

Most everyone is blaming Dak for the loss, but look at the last play again and tell me with a straight face if that in any way was his fault. No doubt the first int was a horrible pass but the real reason the team loss is because the defense couldn’t stop the Jags offense. They gave up 192 yards rushing and 318 yards passing! You’re not going to win with that kind of defense

That was a flukey interception and it sucked to lose that way however, I actually have not seen anyone on here blaming Dak for that play.

Outside of a single throw yesterday, Dak played about as well as any QB could. People that say he is the root cause of that loss are being unreasonable.

So if the blame lies with the defense, why the Dak defense on what ultimately was a poor pass attempt for the simple reason Dak had defenders in his face and there were 2 defenders around Brown.....and if you watch it seems Brown wasn't expecting the pass as he never looked back towards Dak until the last second and had the ball bounce off his hands based on a blocked view and surprise at getting the ball.

Wasn’t on Dak, that’s clear.

The defense is springing a leak. The corner play has dropped off severely of late.

Dak needs to knock off the int’s but that one surely wasn’t on him. That’s why I’m suiting up TY and giving him Brown’s snaps this week. I need a professional WR that knows how to get it done.

Dak got us the lead and the D couldn’t hold. It’s starting to remind me of the Zimmer Defense now…….

if its and buts were ...

You can not blame the defense and protect dak. The offense gets the ball everytime the other team scores or doesn't score. Dak and the offense can protect the lead by continuing to keep it. Your logic is stupid.

No matter how you look at it, the team lost. They were losers

as a former WR, you should always expect the ball to be thrown to you. The blame for the game ending play starts and ends with Noah Brown.

Yeah, outside of a couple of reactionary posts right after the game I'm not sure there was a ton of Dak backlash. I think you pin 1 of the 2 interceptions on him. He ran the read option poorly a couple times, but overall had a solid game, and in that first half he was borderline dominant.

I think we are just at a point where people are so programmed to either blame or defend Dak that certain people just go into that mode instead of being rational about the situation.

Are you serious? All the haters are jumping for joy blaming Dak pounding their little chests saying I told you so.

Look at Brown's eyes in this picture. What is he looking at?

I don't think anyone is above scrutiny here but the Defense had a horrible day and continues to get worse game after game. Their pass rush is non-existant which is exposing our young corners and the run defense is deplorable.

The Offense put over 30 points on the board. That should be enough to win every game.

Wow. No one can argue that this was a bad pass. At all. Hit him in stride. Ball wasn’t low or high. It was like an handoff. Embarrassing effort by Noah Brown. Geez…

Many don’t want to see any of that -
Yes Daks earlier pick sucked
Yes the ground game was putrid at 3.8 yards per carry
But the defense was a total freaking joke !!!!
You score 34 points ???? You should win those games!! No ifs, ands or buts !!! But in this case we didn’t !!
Now let everyone continue to say boo Dak — this reminded me of a Tony Romo era game - where you were worried Romo was going to try too hard because he knew the defense was playing like total garbage and make a mistake .
However we still could’ve bailed the defense out yet NOah Brown (looks like A great WR one second then a bum the next ) bobbles and plays hot potato with an easy pass and catch first down and totally completes the disaster
Yes we are in the playoffs and unlike most who predict one and done understandably, we have a chance to make some noise - however not like this -
Go Cowboys

Brown did a lot of good in this game as well. Noah had 2 TD in the game. I expect Hilton to be ready but I also expect to see Dallas rotating WR in and out of the game. Last play was on Brown but I would not bench him for 1 play. To me that is a knee jerk move.

I thought he played well too up until than. Having said that they obviously don’t think so or they wouldn’t be signing TY, and pining after OBJ.
