I don't think so man. Ramsey is such a natural football player and his is just all over the field. He will make a difference right from the start.
That's just what I think. Not saying that I know I'm right or anything, but the guy is just a difference maker.
YOU SEE THE TITLE, ZONERS!
Call yo shot. WHO'S THE PICK!?
I'll start:
Roger "Fraud" Goodell: "With the 4th pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, The Dallas Cowboys select..."
EZEKIEL ELLIOT, RUNNING BACK, OHIO STATE.
Ramsey if he is there.
If he isn't we trade back.
If we can't find a good partner we take Bosa.
So it is written...so shall it come to pass.
I sure hope you're right. It just seems to me like our lack of a decent pass rush negates even good cornerback play, but that's just a fan's opinion. Maybe he'll come on in game 5.
I predict we take Jalen Ramsey and there is no discernible difference in our D with him on the field playing cornerback.
Not saying that I know I'm right (and I hope I am too). However, I've watched a lot of football over the years and I think that Ramsey is one of the better players I've seen in long while. The guy has football instincts just oozing out of him. He really does remind me of Honey Badger in how he just makes a difference when he's out there.
I've been wrong before though, so we will just have to wait and see.
I will say that I totally understand all of the football gurus and media people who say he may be the best player in the draft. I totally see it.
Ramsey is what you get when you match off the charts physical ability with football smarts and passion.
