Listen, I am not saying it would have won this poorly played offensive game. But Rico is the only true mismatch we have. He is open when covered and has great hands. He could have moved the chains more than once. And at least given the offense some life. I really do not know why you keep this man on the 53, but activate Schultz over him. So we can play 3 TE set where none of the TEs challenge the defense? Terrible.

Rico is 6'8" and Dak would have still thrown it at his feet or over his head.

coaches play not to lose.
that is why they did not want rico.
they want to minimize risk rather than maximize attack options.

just like why they did not play dak and the 1st team in the 3rd game.
that is why they were rusty in the 1st half.

i suspect the personnel department and the coaches have a lot of disagreement.
sounds like the db switch (wr also) over was initiated due to salary cap concerns (stephen) and personnel (mcclay).
same reason why garrett tried to talk witten to staying when witten realized himself that he lost too many steps.

LOL...…….that was funny. Thanks for that.

No,I don’t think so. Probably a staff message...”You want to play? Then quit carrying pot around town.”

Yeah, he would have really helped us score 17 points that one time we were in the Red Zone.

When he learns the playbook he will move to 1st string...

Nah, we need to keep Schultz in there. We can't afford to keep him off the roster. He's oozing with talent.
