I am genuinely worried about several things with this team.
First, we have no established #5 receiver. Having to rely upon only 4 guys with any real playing time and two of them are hurt kills us. Our #5 is playing in a shoulder harness forgoshsakes! How can we compete in the NFL with such a glaring hole, I don't know. Jerruh better get busy. He can bundle Felix Jones, Marion Barber and Tony Romo to NE and get Moss. We should have drafted him instead of Ellis, so make it right!
We are entering the season with only two QB's on the roster. We should make a trade quickly to pick up a Tom Brady or Peyton Manning to back up Johnson in case Romo goes to Mexico again and gets food poisoning. Can you imagine going into this season with only two QB's? We don't have the running game to handle that kind of situation!
We cut Todd Lowber and didn't put him on the practice sqaud even! The guy is the best athlete since Jim Thorpe and we let him get away. Jerruh and Wade are no judges of talent. Just cause a guy was lost and had no hands doesn't mean that he can't run 9 routes and have the entire defense chase him so that TO will be left uncovered.
Our backup OLinemen are the same ones we had last year! How can we expect to repeat what we did last year with the same group?
Bobby Carpenter is still on the roster. Without recovering that first round pick we will never win again. And let's not even mention Amendola making the PS! 5-11 is not that far away, eh Nors.
We have too many corners. How we going to handle game day with 6 corners active? That only leaves 39 other guys on the field on game day.
Finally, neither Wade or Romo has ever won a playoff game. It is certainly obvious to everyone that this means that they never will. Just look at Manning! He never won one until he won one, then he won one, so you can't say he never won one. See what I mean?
I'm fixin a hole where the rain falls in and the sky falls in with it.
