Every time I hear the term, trick question....I think of the movie, My Cousin Vinny! LolTrick question. There are no sane fans. The word itself virtually means insane.

I was being sarcastic earlier but for clarification, what do you mean by 'Just stop it and Jerry will change or sell the team because that's the way it works'?I get the feeling we're going to see a lot of the stop buying Jerry's stuff posts over the next six to eight months. Just stop it and Jerry will change or sell the team because that's the way it works.
It’s too late to stop him. Once the new stadium was built, PSL’s committed by season ticket holders and stadium sponsorship inked. Game over.I get the feeling we're going to see a lot of the stop buying Jerry's stuff posts over the next six to eight months. Yep - good observation. This league is not dependend on the true fans anymore. It has changed its business model with the salary cap long time ago.
The leagues revenue is based on the casual viewer. The mainstream.
And you wont be able to tell those people to not go to the games or watch them on tv or buy the crap the NFL offers as merchandise.
They dont go there because of the sport soley. The go there for the party and the entertainement.
I'm glad somebody else gets it.It’s too late to stop him. Once the new stadium was built, PSL’s committed by season ticket holders and stadium sponsorship inked. Game over.
Equal TV Revenue takes care of the rest . Expanded seasons, additional broadcast games , streaming services , etc have generated continued record revenue for the league. Regardless which game you watch Cowboys get their share.
Success on the field is no longer required as NFL is only professional sports league where all the franchises are in the black.
I figured you were, but was having a little fun. Just stop it was a reference to buying mechandise, going to games, lining Jerry's already gold-lined pockets. Some believe that's the answer, like it's ever going to happen. Even if we could get everyone on this board to agree to not buy merchandise or go to games, it would have little to no effect on the Cowboys being the most valuable sports franchise. Someone else would buy the tickets and many of us are already not buying merch. Plus, there are so many other factors involved in making money as an NFL owner. ... And we circle back to our casual vs. serious fans conversation.I was being sarcastic earlier but for clarification, what do you mean by 'Just stop it and Jerry will change or sell the team because that's the way it works'?
Yep but doesn’t mean I like it.I'm glad somebody else gets it.
Agreed. Jerry has the world's most valuable sports franchise and there are too many factors buoying that for much to change. Even if the Cowboys dropped behind some other franchise in worth, it would still be making far too much money for fan uproar to have an effect. Jerry's going to make his money. It’s too late to stop him. Once the new stadium was built, PSL’s committed by season ticket holders and stadium sponsorship inked. Game over.

The frustrating part of all of it is, he could have even more of everything if he just let a real GM and coaching staff take over. And that’s the pain. His EGO. With His son to take over. Not good. What I don’t get is, he’s seen what it’s like when the Cowboys win it all and that was 30 years ago. It’s bigger than any team winning any championship…. I’m a little biasedIt’s too late to stop him. You think not buying cowboy tickets fixes it. Cowboys tickets doesn’t even pay for the light in the stadium. Lol. The entire league shares revenue.Let's not show up at home games, or away !! So freaking simple folks!! Yet we have these fans who don't know who or what they are rooting for.. Simply do not buy any cowboy tix!! Done!
That will never happen, until it does we deserve this clown show that is forcefully fed down our throat!!
Just stop going and buying folks!!! Very simple.... only way Jerah and circus pay attention.... let's see ....
Or else just **** and let him continue to dangle us like the puppets we are.
Plus the entire league shares revenue. Jerry still going to make his money. This league is not dependend on the true fans anymore. It has changed its business model with the salary cap long time ago.

Yep but that’s when everyone should have seen him for what he is. The fact winning back to back championships wasn’t enough if he wasn’t the man and face of the franchise illustrated that it was more about him and his selfish egotistical ambitions than what is best for Cowboys Football. The frustrating part of all of it is, he could have even more of everything if he just let a real GM and coaching staff take over. Thats BULL. The serious fans are watching at home. They love the Cowboys and watch EVERY game they can EVERY YEAR.Serious fans are the ones in the stands with their faces painted or with letters painted on their bare chests.
Casual fans are the ones wearing team jerseys but too busy flirting with each other or taking selfies to actually watch the game.
Any who cheer when Rowdy comes onto the field are casual fans. Any who boo when Dak comes onto the field are serious. (The one not booing but serious is America's Cowboy.)
You're welcome.
Fair enough.Paid good money for it, so gonna wear it. I was a Cowboys fan long before Jerry, so I've earned that right. Now, I haven't bought any Cowboys gear myself since the 1990s. I did attend a game the first year in the new stadium, but honestly, I'd rather watch from home.
Some serious fans take things a little too seriously IMO.Thats BULL. The serious fans are watching at home. They love the Cowboys and watch EVERY game they can EVERY YEAR.
Don't discount people as SERIOUS FANS, just because they have been priced out of being able to go see games in person. The millionaire boys clubs have priced regular working class people out of attending games with their families.
Don't blame the fans for that. That doesn't make them lesser fans, in fact - Id say that makes them better fans than the idiots who pay these ridiculous prices to attend, park, etc and then spend the whole game feeding their fat faces all game on overpriced garbage food, lol.
Being a moron doesn't make you a serious fan. The real fans are in their homes watching these days guy.
Well, my Cowboys coat is my main winter coat, but I do admit to switching to my leather bomber jacket after some losses out of disgust. Glad you at least got to thumb it in the face of Washington fans once this year. I think it's fair to say that you kind of had that right after the last Washington game when they had playoff positioning on the line and were barely able to beat us playing our third-string QB.Fair enough.
