Every time Atlanta scored, they played that train sound for a really long time. Isn't that the same sound we use on touchdowns at AT&T? Does Atlanta do this every game or were they mocking us? In the grand scheme of things I know it doesn't matter, but I've never heard that sound effect anywhere but AT&T before today.

On another note, that place was damn near empty. Lots of Cowboys fans there, but a saw a lot of empty red seats. The NFL is in trouble.

I could not have sat any closer to that horn, my goodness. Not sure if they always do it.

Atlanta was the place the railroads hooked up in the South. Its original name was Terminus. It is definitely not to mock us.

Im probably wrong but it seems to me like one of the first teams to use a train horn was TCU football, then our Cowboys started it a few years back. Recently, if you watched the MLB playoffs, the Astros would blare a train horn after runs scored and wins. I usually like the train horn sound effect, but now its startin to get into that overplayed territory....

Took long time to fill in, but was pretty full for a while then thinned back out. Huge Cowboys contingent tho, even around city, felt like a home game.

nice. our team is always well represented. on tv they showed stadium with a lot of empty seats, probably mid 3rd quarter.
