Cowboys @ Chargers in SoFi 4pm EDT \3pm CDT \ 1pm PDTI don’t think they’ll open in Philly. They’ll want a game like the Super Bowl rematch week 1

NFL Network IS OWNED BY THE NFL - so basically the league has been doing what you are proposing - for a number of years now.The NFL schedule release is getting bigger every year. Decades ago there was virtually no mention of it. You would just look in the newspaper to see what your teams schedule would be.
Agreed. Said the same here. Throw in open on the road and close at Washington againwe open vs the Giants on SNF and play the Jets on thanksgiving
im willing to be my account here
As opposed to games on Christmas Day - and New Year's?A game on Black Friday now, how stupid
I’ve seen the schedule release shows on the networks and It hasn’t reached the level I posted.NFL Network IS OWNED BY THE NFL - so basically the league has been doing what you are proposing - for a number of years now.
The NFLN regular program shows ("Good Morning Football", etc) with the personnel invovled (show hosts, ex-players, coaches, gms) have been presenting the schedule release for awhile now...it has been a full-scale production ala the NCAA Division I Basketball Tournament Show = "Selection Sunday".
Goodell's presence is not needed IMO.
Again... with the numerous leaks of schedule matchups - not just by sports media outlets - but the individual teams themselves - thus making a production show akin to the draft would be anticlimatic.I’ve seen the schedule release shows on the networks and It hasn’t reached the level I posted.
You took what I said way too seriously. LolAgain... with the numerous leaks of schedule matchups - not just by sports media outlets. but the individual teams themselves - thus making a production show akin to the draft would be anticlimatic.
The schedule release is not like the NFL draft .....suspense with every pick, every player, every round.
NFLN and ESPN have the bases covered...the status quo remains in place.IMO.
We can agree to disagree.
Time will tell.
Like you were not serious on your opiinon = 'The NFL schedule release is getting bigger every year' (KJJ text)You took what I said way too seriously. Lol
I was serious about the NFL schedule release getting bigger every year. It’s pretty obvious to everyone it has.Like you were not serious on your opiinon = 'The NFL schedule release is getting bigger every year' (KJJ text)
My first year as a full-season fan was 1979. I had no idea who Dallas was playing until I read the Sunday paper the morning of the game. The NFL schedule release is getting bigger every year.
