The 2022 Dallas Cowboys offense might suck this year, but the defense is shaping up very nice. Far less rebuilding that needs to be done on the defensive side. And no way Quinn leaves now at this point. It's way more likely that McFatty and Moore are gone after this season. Can you live with that? I could. Easy! And I say that as a big Kellen Moore fan.

Stop with wanting to replace Mike McCarthy as Head Coach. You sound ridiculous!

Remember, it is because of Mike McCarthy that Dan Quinn is here and wanting to stay here as D-Coordinator.

Remember, Dan Quinn already was a Head Coach (Atlanta), and he faired very poorly at it. Clearly, the position was too big/much for him. Dan Quinn is better and best when he can solely concentrate at what he does best: be a D-Coordinator.

So stop with the ridiculous and senseless posts of wanting to replace Mike McCarthy as Head Coach with Dan Quinn. This has been going on for the past year (and usually by the same posters), and it's downright not well thought out and ignorant.

Actually I sound like a freaking genius. So turn off your mind, relax and flow downstream.

Based on how the NFL and this Cowboy team operates.....I said last offseason we would be more impressed with defense than the offense....

I think its going to be the opposite this year. WE have low expectations for the offense and it will be solid...but the defense will somehow have some ugly warts on it. Never fails.

Without the turnovers , Quinn’s defense was average at best. Quinn was no hot commodity in Atlanta, so he might jump at the chance to be the HC of a decent team. Quinn may be a decent DC, but he wasn’t that great as a HC.

With the "McFatty" comments and the "big Kellen Moore fan" comment....I think you've lost all credibility......

I disagree. I think the d will be at worst top half

In his defense....ATL didn't have the best front office or team. I think we all expected more because they had Julio and a few other guys but year in and out they had above average talent and produced like a above average team.

I'd personally be disapointed if they are a top half...for this team to make the moves they made...and have a solid foundation of young pieces like Parsons and Diggs....they should be a top 5 defense....i'm not expecting the same amount of turnovers but they should be improved over last years unit. Last years unit got bailed out by creating timely turnovers but turnovers like that change year in and out.

Dan Quinn inherited a team in Atlanta that had a declining offense. Wasn't really given the opportunity to rebuild. It happens. Not exactly the same situation in Dallas.

I would normally agree with that assessment, but there are factors this time that make me think it's wrong.

1) They kept the same offensive coaches who couldn't or wouldn't adjust to the struggles.
2) They didn't do enough to upgrade the O-line and definitely didn't do enough for the receiver position.
3) Parsons' mentality transformed this defense.....and now they seem hungrier as a result.
4) Quinn seems far better at his job as DC than Moore does as OC...Moore runs the offense how he thinks it should be run and not how the skills of his player dictate he should.

Quinn could be gone if he’s not given the head coaching job after this season. He’ll be a hot commodity once again if the defense continues to make progress. I don’t want him as the Cowboys next head coach! He’s already proven that he’s a better DC than an HC.

I agree. Dan Quinn has done wonders for this team. If only we had a more capable OC on the offense I would have more confidence in this team.

The problem is.....the great coordinators get two HC shots to prove they are only exactly that, and Quinn has one more coming.

When you hire one of these guys as HC, you fully lose what they brought as a coordinator, other than maybe the scheme itself.

The power that be refuse to learn this lesson. So we either hire Quinn as HC or lose him....or want to fire him because he stinks. There's no otherwise.

McCarthy was with Aaron Rodgers for over 10 years and only went to 1 Super Bowl.

Quinn took Atlanta to a Super Bowl. I have a feeling Quinn is more of an over achiever .

McCarthy doesn’t even run his offense or defense. Just a figure head . Not impressive so far. Hard to tell any progress if any from last puppet.

No HC has much chance to overcome toxic atmosphere.
