The 2022 Dallas Cowboys offense might suck this year, but the defense is shaping up very nice. Far less rebuilding that needs to be done on the defensive side. And no way Quinn leaves now at this point. It's way more likely that McFatty and Moore are gone after this season. Can you live with that? I could. Easy! And I say that as a big Kellen Moore fan.
Who would run the offense in that scenario?

Stop with wanting to replace Mike McCarthy as Head Coach. You sound ridiculous!

Remember, it is because of Mike McCarthy that Dan Quinn is here and wanting to stay here as D-Coordinator.

Remember, Dan Quinn already was a Head Coach (Atlanta), and he faired very poorly at it. Clearly, the position was too big/much for him. Dan Quinn is better and best when he can solely concentrate at what he does best: be a D-Coordinator.

So stop with the ridiculous and senseless posts of wanting to replace Mike McCarthy as Head Coach with Dan Quinn. This has been going on for the past year (and usually by the same posters), and it's downright not well thought out and ignorant.

YOu didnt find the "The offense is probably going to suck this year" quote the most laughable?

Actually I sound like a freaking genius. So turn off your mind, relax and flow downstream.

You sound like the opposite of a genius to me. But I will bite.

Please explain your genius in how the Cowboys offense is going to go from #1 in the NFL in scoring and passing yards to SUCK!!!

I think ST steals the show . Bones shows off his new college kicker project and who knows McArbys might trot the kid out there for a 60 yarder ….meanwhile Anger might punt one right into the big screen TV again and again just for kicks .

I guess the big fella said 88 is no longer our punt return guy since he’s about all that separates Dak from having a # 1 target and Stephen in panic mode .

The problem with Quinn being the HC, is
1) will he really be the HC that leads the show or all the shots among his team . or will the Jones force him to remain with Kellen ?
2) who will be his OC and DC if he is made HC will be be huge,..
3) Will he the HC make key adjustments in game and on the move ?

- Quinn hired on Kyle Shanahan who can be an excellent OC if not for 2 different SB gaffes , Quinn also hired on Dirk Koettner who also was a good OC
so it proved Quinn can hired OCs , but would Quinn be able to hire his own OC, or go with what the Jones want as OC ?

- Quinn biggest downfall as HC, was his defensive and special teams staff crumbling on a frequent basis and untimely critical moments,
...and he didn't adjust accordingly.

- Irony is lack of defense is the leading reason what helped caused McCarthy decline in GB (along with relationship vs Rodgers) where Mac insisted
on continuing with long time buddy Dom Capers as DC, until management insisted on a change, .if not for the Jones intervening on a new DC
(and DL coach) McCarthy would've likely stayed with his pick of Mike Nolan for yet another year as DC...

- i think this failing at DC reigned huge in the eyes of the Jones and made their faith and stock in McCarthy drop dramatically - such the talk and rumor
of possible Quinn takeover or eventual hire of Sean Payton.

+1

Some will continue to assume McCarthy went out and recruited Quinn to be come here as DC,... when it was management that went out
recruited Quinn to come here and "recommended" (insist?) that he'd be the DC here.
Absolutely and it’s 100% confirmed by multiple team journalists.

let’s give credit to MM for what he did do. He hired Mike Nolan. Good hire, idiot.

I would normally agree with that assessment, but there are factors this time that make me think it's wrong.

1) They kept the same offensive coaches who couldn't or wouldn't adjust to the struggles.
2) They didn't do enough to upgrade the O-line and definitely didn't do enough for the receiver position.
3) Parsons' mentality transformed this defense.....and now they seem hungrier as a result.
4) Quinn seems far better at his job as DC than Moore does as OC...Moore runs the offense how he thinks it should be run and not how the skills of his player dictate he should.
I don't disagree with any of the above. I don't even have logic behind what i'm saying. I'm just saying this offense is going to be better than we think. I have no reason for it. Maybe less cooks in the kitchen and Moore trying to coach for a head coaching job will allow for him to adjust more in-game. We are going to get the best out of this offense this season and I have a feeling the defense is the one that's going to hurt us because they won't be capable of getting the turnovers they did last year.

I hope i'm wrong. I still expect a good season. Just not the same story as last year.

I will hafta see it to believe it. What I mean is, even if Quinn is promoted I believe its another "package deal" to include Moore as the OC.

I still see Moore as Jerry's Garrett Redemption Project part II to prove he is a football guy.

So until Quinn is promoted to HC without Moore as OC, I will still think that Moore is doing his coach
in training time here until he's ultimatedly promoted to HC himself.

Didn't he lead them to a Superbowl? I think JJ and company would love to play in a superbowl sometime soon.

DQ as DC is fine with me.....but as HC, no way Jose. There are those who are just better coordinators than head coaches....DQ is one of those.

Quinn is a good defensive coordinator.
But, trust me ruffians, as head coach he'd be another Dave Campo or Chan Gailey.

DQ is a better HC than MM. If Matt Ryan didn't choke he'd have a super bowl just like MM and I bet you wouldn't say he's just a coordinator then.

...Dan is surely building his legion of Boom in Dallas, with Micah as cornerstone. I see this going 2 ways. Should Dallas make playoffs with any type of advancement.

I see MM getting extended. Other option, anything less than winning the division, MM gets the axe.

McCarthy was with Aaron Rodgers for over 10 years and only went to 1 Super Bowl.

Quinn took Atlanta to a Super Bowl. I have a feeling Quinn is more of an over achiever .

McCarthy doesn’t even run his offense or defense. Just a figure head . Not impressive so far. Hard to tell any progress if any from last puppet.

No HC has much chance to overcome toxic atmosphere.

And Sean Payton only has one Lombardi with Brees. I want to see us keep Mike as HC, but, should he not succeed, I think Quinn is the best replacement choice.
