Adams - IF Flozell is hurt...then they need to put someone else on the field. Let's hope that person (McQuistan) plays well and if he does...Flozell can move to RT next year. The Cowboys need to stop re-signing all of there free agents just because it provides continuity. Colombo is "just a guy" And Flozell just receieved a 4 year extension. So he is not going anywhere.

Colombo - last year in Dallas. Nothing good/bad from here on out will change my mind about the guy. If he is not replaceable...then our entire scouting/coaching staff need to look for work elsewhere.

Gurode - how did this guy EVER make the Pro Bowl? Move him to guard to replace Kosier/Proctor/??.

Kosier/Proctor/??? - see above comment

Davis - I have no idea what the Cowboys blocking scheme is. But if I see Davis block a man that is ALREADY being blocked by another OL I am going to scream...especially when our OTs are getting tore a new one. In fact, for the amount of money we are paying Davis...some serious consideration needs to be given to moving him outside. Because he is pretty much useless inside these days. We can't run and teams are daring us to pass.

Houdson Houck - this guy has seemingly gotten a free pass. But what exactly does he do? You and I could get guys to perform this putrid.

The OL will not allow Garrett to be the offensive team he wants to be. The OL is where football starts. The OL controls the tempo of a game. The OLs pathetic play is one of if not the biggest reason this team stinks.

Lastly, get a new Center. This is not knee jerk reaction...but I question this guys smarts and I question his nastiness and I question his focus. Get a new Center. Don't be fooled by Pro Bowl votes. Get a new Center

Most of the Oline's problems come from the neck up.

Here is an idea, only Feed the O line for every good quater they play...so...

Lets let them eat every wednesday just becuase its the NFL but never on Saturday so they go into the game Hungary.

So this week they get to eat Wednesday....

If they play half of next week then they can eat Monday, Wednesday and Friday...

I think it would work. .

We can't groom linemen to save our lives so either these guys work or we overpay in free agency.

At this point we can't even afford to let any of them walk, including Columbo, who is going to take his spot?

Hell we got a former starter in Holland in a trade, and he can't even see the field, how're we goning to ever get Free on the field?

I'm not sure what has happened. I think Flo's confidence has always been a fragile thing, and he CLEARLY looked hurt against Arizona. He looked confused and very stiff (upright) apparently against Rams.

BUT, I thought Flo and Columbo and Bigg, and even Gurode played Probowl football the first 4-5 games of season. So something else is up. The protection Romo had early in the season was INSANELY GOOD. The run blocking has always been hit and miss, especially up the middle. Could use improvement for a group this size for years as they should at least drive guys back a yard or two, but our backs consistently get contact at or behind line of scrimmage similar to what happened to Julius (cept Julius would go down more often right away).

Not sure what is up, but Flo is capable and I don't buy he's not interested. They look fragile and of poor confidence. Where is coaching again?

I think it has more to do with the LG then anything else. I think that he's shading towards the guard and as a result, he's not getting out on the edge as quickly as he would if he knew he didn't have to worry about helping back to the inside.

So much of what an OL has to do is based on locking support in the passing game. I just think that if we can fix the LG problem, Flo will get back to playing well again.

This OL looks a heck of a lot better when Romo is in there. You put a Brad Johnson or a Drew Bledsoe or a Vinny Testaverde back there and the same results happen. We'll be OK when Romo gets back, hopefully it's not too late.

I think there was some smart person who said, "Don't overpay to keep the aging, lacidasical left tackle".

Now we're stuck with the underperforming goof for another few years.

Ugh.

No wonder this team is where its at.

Flozell is the worlds highest paid bank teller, all he does is cash checks. Dude plays with absolutely zero emotion.

Will moving Flo to the right side suddenly make him quicker so that small, faster, DE's aren't kicking his butt?

you guys consistantly under value how important chemistry is on the o-line, those guys almost have to share the same brain at times, with kosier out it changes everything.

Are you freakin' serious? Can't Jason Garrett call a screen pass to the left side to balance the over-aggressive pressure coming from the side of Flozell? Bill Bellichek made half-time adjustments last year to stop the pressure being created by the Dallas defensive line by shortening routes and employing Welker more. He created match-ups where he had Greg Ellis covering Welker.

Why do you think QBs call audibles on blitzes having their WRs run shot routes?

JG's offense is vertical, meaning the OL needs to hold the line longer. He needs to adjust if pressure is coming, not continue with his deep routes. He needs to move TO around and have him run quick slants from the slot.

Good point, but not quite everything.

ON Sunday, Flo and Columbo both got beaten several times by the DE simply giving a speed rush around them.

since he has NOT adjusted his offense....that means these guys will have to be re-tooled...or we need a new offensive coordinator...and we went out and got Roy WIlliams because he will NOT adjust his offense
