Inspired by the peppers thread, which was inspired by a gardening thread in the political zone.

Right now, of the plants that have germinated or are in the ground, I have:

Spinach
Broccoli
Cilantro
Rosemary
Garlic
Elephant Garlic
Green Onion
Garlic Chives
Bell Pepper
Poblano Pepper
Habanero Pepper
Serrano Pepper
Jalapeno Pepper
Hot Lemon Pepper
Thyme
Oregano
Few Tomatoes, don't remember which varieties.
Tomatillo
Basil, don't remember the variety.
plus
6 more peppers
7 more herbs
2 varieties of corn that haven't germinated

As you can probably tell, I'm a culinary gardener. I started gardening when I started cooking.

I'm also starting a new bed so I stop unintentionally producing as many hybrid peppers, but with the heavy clay soils it takes a while to amend and it's a pain to dig.

Anyway, what have you got growing or plan on growing?

You must have a pretty decent size space to get all of those plants going. I'm jealous.

yeah that sounds pretty great.

I just made a small garden for my son and I to take care of.

I had one in the past but I ended up using it for flowers and bushes and incorporating it into the rest of the landscaping!

I have

Patio tomatioes
Roma tomatoes
Beefsteak tomatoes
juliete tomatoes
Cherry peppers
Green bell mexican peppers
Yellow peppers
Watermelon
Cantaloupe

I am going to add some space and put a pumpkin in there when it stars to germinate.

We have a bunch of herbs I have in pots also like basil, rosemary, mint and oregano. I have had a hard time keeping herbs healthy in the heat here!!!!

Also I put a peach tree in the ground in 04 and it is growing really well and bears fruit in late july and my wife bought me a lemon tree last week that I put in a huge pot on the patio, not sure if I will ever get fruit on that but it smells really good.

Like i stated in the other thread i just don't have a spot for gardening at the new place, i'm living in an apartment now. :(

But i till have chives in a pot and we brought a little Raspberry plant with us from our last place and it is starting to come up in a big pot. We will plant a Rosemary, Basil and Mint in pots soon. I will also look into getting at least one Sungold tomato plant and one jalapeno plant to also put in pots.

Other than than i don't think we will have much of anything else this year. I can't wait until we move back to TX and into our house. We plan on having a big garden like we had before we moved from KY to WV.

I thought that's what you were insinuating but i was hoping you had more brains and common sense than that.

How many acres do you have? Are you in the middle of the city?
