In football, a head coach relies heavily on his assistants, who play a crucial role in various aspects of the team. Assistants provide support, expertise, and leadership in areas like game planning, player development, and recruiting. While the head coach ultimately leads the team and makes final decisions, the assistants are integral to the team's and head coach's success.

In this thread, we will discuss new Cowboys Head Coach Brian Schottenheimer's first and extremely critical coaching hire in Offensive Coordinator Klayton Adams...

I suppose he's now in the spotlight and will be scrutinized on whether it's his scheming that succeeded in Arizona and whether he can get out of Dak/Williams/Blue as he did Murray and Connor. I suppose the SB highlighted how a dual running threat, on the field at the same time, will open up space for one of the options. Will Defenses have the same considerations with us?

I've been preaching that he could have just as much success, if not more, than some of the other rookie hires. A ton of successful head coaching involves managing people and communication; we have heard is Schotty's strength. I'm not going to lie, Belichick was my first choice, and then Glenn, but the more I researched and broke down Schotty's experience and former coaches he worked with, I became more impressed. Not just him as a coach, but also as a person.

Not sure I can get any more PUMPED!!!!

We gon' be sum smash mouf mo-fos this season babay!!!!

Go Cowboys!!

Schotty may be a great hire, but he will be handicapped just like McCarthy was.
Both are/were saddled with a new contract for Dak.
The definition of insanity- doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results.
I think they’ve decided to play out with Dak.

Losing Rush and Lance leaves us no choice.

And what is sad is it didn't have to be this way. We all know who Dak is and what he brings (or maybe I should say "doesn't bring"). We all know he's not the future of the Cowboys. I just wish Barnum and Bailey (Jerral and Cap boy) would take off the blinders. If they upgraded the offense and defense like they say they did, then (for a year or 2) it doesn't matter who our QB is. We can still make it deep into the post season. It gives them time to find who our future Franchise QB is.

But I digress.
