Despite beating them 10 of last 11 …

The Giants have a GM now. A real football man - not some scout Jerry claims to be a guru .

Thibadeaux is just getting started - they have the Best LT in football.

They are proactive In ufa and looking to improve right now - OBJ could be next .

We rolled with Dennis Houston - Tolbert is a bust .

We are dying for a WR & MLB and our brass doesn’t care.

Our fanbase is truly stupid - used like a urinal by the Jones family only to pad their lavish lifestyle off fan money. .

Really a damn shame - living off Tex Schram’s vision .

There are early season signs that their GM and HC hires are potentially good ones.

They also seem to have coached up their QB1 into respectability while many thought he was a lost cause.

So if you go by the GM, HC and QB1 as being the most important positions to success in the NFL, and I do, then yes, they appear to be doing well now.

Wow, I can see this loss to the Eagles has clouded your thinking today.

First off, thank you for acknowledging the great strides my team has finally taken to improve- new GM and HC. It starts there and has blossomed nicely. I am very proud of our record, 5-1, but we could easily be 1-5 had we not made a bunch of 4th quarter comebacks. My point is this- there is a very thin line between winning and losing. So far, we have been on the winning side….but that can change just like that.

Secondly, while I know you are disappointed in your loss to the Eagles, look at it this way- you came back from 20-3 to 20-17 in the 4th. Unfortunately, Eagles moved down the field to score and win it. Your back up QB threw 3 interceptions yet you still had a chance to win. You’ve had to overcome losing several key people including your great LT as well as your QB. You should be getting both back soon. As for WR, Gallup + CD isn’t too shabby even leaving out all the others. After all, look who my team has rolled out the first 6 weeks at WR - Richie + Sills….and yet we are still winning.

in conclusion- be patient and don’t let this one loss derail your enthusiasm here. I never post for 24 hours after a disappointing loss. I don’t want to speak through my heart rather than my brain. From my perspective, Dallas is doing well- your draft choices are usually solid….much more than my Giants over the last 10 years. Oh, and speaking about draft choices- we’ve been picking top 5 for the past 6 years….I don’t think we have much to show for that as we should. The grass is always greener on the other side my friend. And don’t forget this- you have beaten the two teams who played in the Super Bowl last year and are the only team to have beaten my Giants. It’s not nearly as bad as you are making it to be.

Cheer up,
K

To think someone created an account just to post stupidity like this. One loss doesn't all of the sudden erase everything else. Lawd it's gonna be a long week.
It should not be. For me it was the realization that with just decent QB play and just half decent coaching we beat the Eagles - no worries. We can play a lot better - not sure the Eagles have more than they showed last night.

The Cowboys beat the Giants at their place. The Cowboys would have won last night in Philly with better QB play. I think the NFCE is the class of the conference this year and those 3 teams will be in the thick of things down to the end. May well see 2 wild cards out of the East this year.

That's how I came out of it. Our back up threw 3 ints, we had a poor non-challenge and some iffy calls, yet we went toe to toe. If I'm an eagles fan I'm probably not real confident heading to Dallas on Christmas eve.

I said it after Dallas beat NY. There is something brewing up there. Danny Jones is better than he gets credit for. That team has done him no favors, and he's been placed in a terrible position. We kept hitting him in the mouth and he kept getting back up, that has to say something.

They are still a year away from this thread possibly having legitimacy. Barkley is a big question mark though, because he really is a great back, but will they pay him?
