The Giants have blown by the Cowboys

I said it after Dallas beat NY. There is something brewing up there. Danny Jones is better than he gets credit for. That team has done him no favors, and he's been placed in a terrible position. We kept hitting him in the mouth and he kept getting back up, that has to say something.

They are still a year away from this thread possibly having legitimacy. Barkley is a big question mark though, because he really is a great back, but will they pay him?

You brought up good points, especially this one- how much, if any, will the Giants pay to extend both Barkley and Jones? Every Giant fan wants to know this and every fan has an opinion. I stay out of speculation these days now that I have a GM and HC I trust. I will let them make the calls and I will support them because they are smart football people, so I’m sure whatever they decide has been well thought out. For what it’s worth, I actually don’t think there is just one right answer, so let’s see how this all plays out.

The Giants have a GM now. A real football man - not some scout Jerry claims to be a guru .

Thibadeaux is just getting started - they have the Best LT in football.

They are proactive In ufa and looking to improve right now - OBJ could be next .

We rolled with Dennis Houston - Tolbert is a bust .

We are dying for a WR & MLB and our brass doesn’t care.

Our fanbase is truly stupid - used like a urinal by the Jones family only to pad their lavish lifestyle off fan money. .

Really a damn shame - living off Tex Schram’s vision .

When the dust settles, the Giants will be looking up at us in the standings. I have little doubt of that.

We won the battle but they’re currently winning the war being one game ahead of us.

That's how I came out of it. Our back up threw 3 ints, we had a poor non-challenge and some iffy calls, yet we went toe to toe. If I'm an eagles fan I'm probably not real confident heading to Dallas on Christmas eve.

Won't be so scared if they have the division wrapped up by then. I think it is an unfortunate break that we have to wait so long for the rematch.

They are already legitimate (astoundingly) but their ceiling this year is a WC round loss. But it's scary to think what Daboll and his staff will do when they are past this cap get-right year, and actually start to have some depth and a wider talent base. This year's Giants are so deficient talent wise, but playing greater than the sum of their parts. That's coaching. And confidence.

Read the post that is a response to and you can see that the author was taking a much more extreme position than "it's a factor." Damn well claimed it was dispositive. And the cases I referenced demonstrates that unequivocally is not accurate. Next.

The Giants are in no way better than Dallas.

We literally beat them with our backup qb and it was not as close as the score would indicate.

The Cowboys can show who they are when they achieve the pinnacle winning performance level of the offense and defense collectively clicking at the same time for the full game. Then, they repeat those types of performances over the remaining games. This should be the goal. We've seen glimpses. We need consistency. No more excuses. Get 'er done!
