We should have seen this coming....when ever the Cowboys are hyped up its turns into a EPIC FAIL....Shotty and this entire coaching staff is in-experienced..and it shows

Harbaugh just had a one-game gameplan. This type of gameplan isn't sustainable.

Limiting the Cowboys to 6 offensive possessions is the way to beat us.

We'll be ready for them in Arlington.

LOL. Dominating a defense and running 13 play drives with hardly any resistance is every teams dream game plan every week. Only works when the defense can't stop a nose bleed like last night.

I didnt have high expectations for the season but it was only the 1st game. That being said. I waited all day to get off work to watch the game and I couldn't even finish it. I turned it off with like 10 mins left in the 4th and went to bed. It was bad on all counts.

And Schotty had the wrong gameplan. We played not to lose, and should've put their DBs on the back foot all night.

Put their young, inexperienced *QB* on his back foot too.

We were supposed to have an overwhelming advantage at QB, WR, and DB. We didn't push that advantage on either side of the ball.

jerry jones is smiling ear to ear at how much money he made again on national tv. that is all that matters to the jones anymore.

Overshown is a gimp now, just like what happened with Jaylon Smith. Once you get a bad injury, you start adjusting your game to avoid another injury. Like jumping on piles instead of facing up and tackling square. As they say, once you start thinking about getting hurt, your done.

Overshown is not a 2nd contract player after his injury.

He suffered a horrific injury.

Football players don’t come back from that.

The Giants were 9 of 11 on Third down. Couldn't get off the field. Never made an adjustment to cover the flat. My expectations are much lower after that display. Going to be hard to even win 8 games playing defense like that.

The only reason this game is a surprise is if you bought into all the pre-season hype. I have been saying all along, "show me". Last night was not an eye-opener. It was the expected result of two teams doing things differently. One hired a real coach after years of ailing with pretenders, despite years of drafting in the top of every draft. The other kept their pretender coach, hired an unknown they hyped up as some future genius, and instead of fixing weaknesses just gaslighted fans into thinking their players are great - again.

The Giants are loaded with talent. They have been drafting in the top of the draft every year for years. All they needed was someone to put that talent together and get them moving in the right direction. Their coach also knows talent and brought some quality additions to the team from his past coaching job.

The Cowboys have a 3rd or 4th tier HC and staff. They were simply outcoached last night. The defense was a mess and I know it is a new defense again, but the Giants had new coaches too and managed to play like they knew what they were doing.

The Cowboys have had plenty of opportunity to hire quality head coaches. They could have tried to get Harbaugh, Vrabel, Sean Payton and some others but they chose the guy no one else wanted because Jerry has to control the team and would not give his head coach the kind of player control that a head coach needs.
