The Good: The Cowboys came to play and the last two games shows the fans that they're not tanking and that winning the division and getting to the playoffs is a real possibility. The offense moved the ball pretty much the whole game and Zeke finally got 100 plus yards on the ground with a makeshift o-line. Dalton looked pretty good and was able to get the ball to his receivers. How good is Zack Martin, the guy starts at right tackle and pretty much dominates. The Cowboys defense was able to force two turnovers which they turned into points. Folks C.D. Lamb is on his way and he continues to take helmet to helmet hits but he gets right back up.

The Bad: A blocked extra point and a few big drops by the receivers and Tony Pollard what are you doing bringing the kick off back when you're five yards in the endzone you cost your team 15 yards of field position.

The Ugly: The Cowboys cornerback my God could you please cover someone. The Vikings receivers were so wide open down the field and Anthony Brown looked totally lost out there. There were a few times the Cowboys had Cook trapped in the backfield but missed tackles turned into positive runs.

The Bottom Line: So who would have thought this, that the winner of Thursday's Thanksgiving day game will be in first place in the division with four wins and after what I've seen from the Cowboys the last two game I like their chances.

The Cowboys could take any position on defense in the first round and I’d be fine with it.

DE - I feel best about this position on defense but that’s with Aldon and Gregory on board. Can we trust those guys?

DT - Jerry admitted failure here....good chance we take one in round 1. Right now we only have JAGs there....Gallimore and Hill are solid pieces but not playmakers.

LB - Lee is old, LVE is glass and Jaylon is ridiculous.

CB - Maybe our biggest area of need on defense. Chido, Lewis and Brown are JAGs, and Robinson is too raw. Diggs is all we have to feel good about here. You just know Jerry wants a redo so he can sign Byron instead of Amari.

S - Not a great position to spend a first rounder but I’d focus on this position in FA. Woods and Wilson haven’t really proven anything.

Yeah. Wilson was garbage with the forced fumbles and huge hits. Trash

It doesn’t really...OPs comment about the corners made me think about defensive priorities in the draft. As I wrote it all out, I realized I agree that CB is our biggest need.
OK well on that subject since we will slide bit maybe around 10, maybe Sean Wade(osu) or who else

truly theres no Defender worthy of top 5 pick this draft anyway, would have been reach or trade down..so whos the Best Corner in this draft?

I’d take Surtain in the top 5

Did I say trash? I said he hasn’t proven anything. I also said I wouldn’t likely spend a first rounder on safety.
so far he looked bit like Barry church but maybe more upside, hes looking better then woods anyway..so his age has more value for the future growth..

I don't agree with you on Wilson. I think he is a playmaker and showed it yesterday. He wasn't perfect - didn't get in position on the Jefferson TD - but man, he caused 2 turnovers. When is the last time one of our safety's did that - 1996?

I’d take Surtain in the top 5
according to most draft board and experts at this point no defender is worth top 5 pick an i doubt we land there anyway so taking him at 5-10 area would be c]value ..he or Wad are the scuttle butt..would be nice with Diggs..Diggs going down really hurt..

whos Surtains current nfl Comp?

Byron but a little bigger and not as fast

He had a great game. He may develop. But so far this season he’s had more bad plays than good plays.

I'd say Micah Parsons is good enough to be a top-5 pick.

Surtain compares to his dad https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrick_Surtain

HIs NFL.com comparison is Byron Jones, but I don't think he's the freak athlete that Jones is.

Yea, the corners looked bad, especially Brown.
I agree some of the Cook runs were tough to watch but on the flipside the dude is a beast as a RB. Probably makes some guys think for a half second on where he may go and is able to slip past them
