The Good: The Cowboys jumped all over the overmatched FT as they sent a message that today was going to be a blowout. Dak threw a great pass to Copper which put the Cowboys on top but the offense wasn't the story today it was all about the Cowboys defense, yes the defense is now becoming the focus of this team. Randy Gregory probably had his best game as a Dallas Cowboys recording a couple of sacks a tip ball and getting a pick but the story of the day belongs to one man Micah Parsons who is an absolute wrecking machine and is basically an unstoppable force. This guy will destroy anything you try to draw up for your offense and the best part about it is you're gonna have to double team this guy and that will free up Gregory, Lawrence and many others for one on one situations so good luck blocking all those guys. Like I said on Friday the Cowboys do two things very well on defense and that's put pressure on the quarterback and force turnovers and that's exactly what they did Sunday.
The Bad: There were a couple of bad penalties by the Cowboys which hurt big plays like the Hooker hit out of bounds and the hold by L'el Collins which killed a long pass from Dak to Gallup. Dak hasn't been playing great football lately and I don't think he's seeing the field as well as he did at the beginning of the season plus some of his throws just seem to sail right out of his hand just like on the first Int. he threw in the first quarter.
The Ugly: I said that the FT team will keep it close because the Cowboys are the most undisciplined team in the NFL when it comes to penalties (which is true) but what I should have added was the Cowboys coaching staff will keep the FT in the game. This coaching staff just doesn't know how to step on a teams throat! You're up 24 for God sake and you decided it was time to pull back and go through the motions and let them back in the game, absolutely horrible game management by the Cowboys coaching staff. I'll tell you what the Cowboys were very fortunate to win that game because there was plenty of time for the FT to come back.
Down the Line: Now that the division has pretty much been locked up by the Cowboys it's time to start to rest a bunch of players (They're not getting the number one seed) like Dak, Zeke, Pollard, and Cooper. There is no reason to press it especially against a team like the feeble Giants who they play next week. The Cowboys are gonna need all their guys healthy come playoff time and you don't want them going into the playoffs being banged up.
