-The Good
*Williams block punt that turned into a TD
*The Cowboys somehow got 5 sacks
*Now that you can kiss any hopes of being in the playoffs goodbye the Cowboys could end up with a top 10 draft pick and if the Packers continue to stink another one inside the top 20
-The Bad
*Why did Jerry have the pos SAS on the field and in the owners' box
*Once again the Cowboys are the most undisciplined football team in the entire league
*George Pickens and Ferguson with two mindless penalties
*The Cowboys fumbled four times losing two
*Cowboys go right down the field on the opening drive and get nothing
*The Cowboys not converting on fourth down twice
*Abrey missing that 68 yard field goal
-The Ugly
*The Dallas Cowboys are a low energy low effort football team
*And that defense is embarrassing
*We were told that changes were coming, ya well we saw the same results
*Daron Bland holy crap did you break your ankle on the goal line TD by Harrison
*The Cardinals' receivers were wide open all night long
*Nolen made the Cowboys' offensive line look like children and he destroyed them all night long but so did many others
*We all know the defense sucks but how about the Cowboys offense ONE touchdown are you kidding me
*The lack of fundamentals from this team, horrible tackling, can't catch, what are you idiots doing in practice
*When you lose to a team at home that has lost 5 straight, without their starting quarterback, and two running backs that's when you know the season is over
-Next Week
*Fortunately for us fans, the Cowboys are off next week so we don't have to go through the misery of watching this team get pummelled yet again

Bye week coming at a perfect time this year.

Fingers crossed the Cowboys can make a couple of changes to help the defense somehow.

So happy that BS was hired.

This ALL falls on him. All of it. Penalties. Still tops in the league. At least this team is good at something.

It took 8 weeks but the league has figured out how to stop the Cowboys offense.

With all of its starters by the way. So. No excuses for putting up 7 points against the Cardinals.

dry as your fingers are, we'll be bad for years!!!!!! :muttley:

No but we will see if we can get some guys back from injury, maybe pick up a few players and try to turn things around. Might as well get Maxx and have him ready for his return game to Vegas!!!!!

I will add some good things I saw.

Javonte Williams in *** protection is incredible. He absolutely stole the souls of two blitzing DBs last night. Punishing. And he continues to run with power.

Jay Toia played much better last night. He stayed square, occupied his blockers and I think he even had a pressure. I am not saying he is good or anything but he did look better last night.

Ryan Flournoy continues to do his job.

The Cowboys pass rush was better at times. But they seem to get close to the QB but not finish. They left lanes open for Brissette to throw through. A couple of time I thought if they had the hands up they could have knocked down some of those passes.

Aubrey may have missed that 68 yard FG attempt, but man, it was long enough for at least 75 yards.

On the bad side:

The officiating. It was awful again. I am not blaming the refs but there was some missed calls all night and they seemed to be against Dallas. The opening Cardinals drive on 3rd down Fowler was dragged to the ground by his facemask in the open in front of a ref and no flag. It wasn't just holding it was dangerous.

The Williams fumble at the end of the game. What happened to forward progress? Williams was knocked backwards and in the grasp of a defender. He wasn't going anywhere. How is that not forward progress. I believe it was an Eagles game earlier this year when Barkley coughed it up and the refs called forward progress despite it being quicker and less obvious than the Williams play. Again, I am not saying it made a difference but someone please explain what forward progress is or means in the NFL.

Speaking of that play, this is where Dak looks bad. They were down 2 scores and no timeouts. There's 2:40 left on the clock and it 3rd and 12. Dak was under pressure immediately again, but he has to dirt that ball at Williams' feet. Even if he doesn't fumble the clock continued to run burning valuable time. Dak makes these kinds of mental mistakes.

It seems getting an extension from Jerry Jones is the kiss of death. Ferguson, Bland, Tyler Smith, and Osa Odighizuwa all looked awful last night. Its bad decisions on personnel that have put Dallas where they are right now. It seems like whatever Jerry does, it's the wrong thing.

Schotty's habit of punishing players like Mazi Smith and Jayden Blue, as if their play is the reason Dallas is terrible is tiring. Believe it ow not, Trevon Diggs, Mazi Smith, and Jayden Blue are not the reasons the Cowboys are losing and look so bad doing it. But the guys who are largely responsible, like Kenneth Murray, DaRon Bland, the rest of the DL, continue to see playing time. When the fans pick scapegoats, it is normal. But coaches need to be more exacting in their decision-making.

Listening to anything the Jones family says about the team is like listening to PT Barnum.

I really hope the players quit on this coaching staff, that may be the only way Jerry is forced to change something. This team is wretched and the rot comes from the top and flows into the coaching staff. Not enough negative adjectives in the English language for this defense and general status overall as an organization.

Williams is awesome I saw him blow up a few guys last night to, unfortunately, he had another fumble but the guy is a hard nose player and I hope the Cowboys can resign this beast!

I will add to the "good". 1. Javonte Williams 2. Bye week- no need to watch that putrid defense this week.
Honestly, everything you have in the "bad" category can just as well be added to the "ugly" bin.

Dak has lost confidence in the tackles he is now missing open WR because he is looking for exit routes. Schotty is also showing signs of "OL fatigue" in play calling... you either bench those OT's or bring in Milton.. this season is shot anyway. Dak has played well this year but if steele and guyton are gonna test his pads every game and he season is shot whats the point
