The Grammys: theyre boring

the grammys are declared as boring, why? its just another awards show. a music category awards show, and i dont keep in touch with todays music stars. dont waste you time with something that isnt important. i rather stick with the Pro Bowl, as well as the Royal Rumble PPV(which ill watch online although the sound and pic quality tends to be sloppy)

All award shows are boring. Though at least some hosts are pretty funny I guess.

I like the Oscars, they're interesting and great to see.

You got Metallica performing which is cool. Killswitch Engage and Dream Theater are both for the hard rock/metal Grammy also. I don't think that gets televised though.

I love music. So, the Grammys entertain me. However, this year it seems like they are doing a whole bunch of unnecessary duets. I will still tune in, but I don't think I will enjoy this year as much as years past.

The Grammys are all about 'who made money this year?' And their categories and categorization of music/bands is pretty inconsistant. If there's an industry that's even more corrupt than Hollywood, it's the Pop music trades.

So no, I don't watch or care much about 'em. 'Course, the Pro Bowl sucks pretty hard too....

I haven't taken the Grammys seriously since they failed to nominate Kanye West's brilliant album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy for Album of the Year.

I watch the Grammys, but I don't hold their viewpoints very highly.

Queens of the stone age are closing the show with Trent Reznor and Dave Grohl. I will record it just so I can see that happen.
