I saw our savior at left corner working out at 24 Hour Fitness in Valley Ranch the other nite. I guess he's still looking for that next shot...or just trying to stay fit.

Can't believe we didn't try to attack him in that Seattle game, I'll never understand our playcalling that day.

I really think that our D collapse at the end of the season had BP worried so much that he went back to what he trusts; run the ball and control the clock. The Detroit game we tried to match scores with them and LOST. So you really cannot be suprised that he did not want to take that chance in a playoff game.
Actually the D played a lo better in the playoff game but still could not make the stop when it counted. We did not deserve to win that game.

Waiting all these years to finally win a playoff game only to watch it end like it did was very frustrating. Horrible horrible game plan.

I don't know if horrible describes it.

That wasn't really the problem. The Seahawks were laying back, playing a very soft Cover 2. Instead of livining things up attacking the deep middle and crossing routes underneath, Parcells decided to go with a plain jane attack by sending the receivers deep. I could kind of understand it as he probably thought Owens and Glenn could beat their corners deep and if not, it at least opened up the running game (Julius did have a good game). But Owens and Glenn couldn't beat their secondary deep because they were pretty disciplined and we didn't attack the underneath and deep middle stuff until the game was almost over.

Yeah, they had the draft a while ago, I was surprised you guys didn't know this. He was the first corner taken in the entire league. That tells me everything I need to know.

He's listed as a DBS...which I can only assume means safety.:laugh2:

All you can ask from a head coach is to be put into a position to win and the players have to execute once that situation occurs. Romo messed up. That's not BP's fault. The gameplan was fine and it got us to the area of a chipshot field goal for the victory. It's tough to go on the road in the playoffs against and experienced coach and expect to blow ur opponent out. We were put into the perfect position to win and the players blew it.

There's no way that game should be blamed on Parcells.
