If he came back 5 years ago, TO would've played at least 3 more seasons.
Players around the league should be happy he's back and secretly root for him to succeed and stay around.

Having a few old players that are not completely done athletically is never a bad thing. Wish we would be more willing to take on an ex all pro stop gap or 2 on 1 or 2 year deals. Instead of signing players who wont see the field unless injuries happen.

Peppers or Freeney would have been a solid boost to our pass rush. Heck this year i would have gladly taken Haloti Ngata on a 1 year deal if we are not going to take a DT. He may not be a pro bowl nose guard anymore but im sure he could keep our LBs clean and stop the run netter then the 6th round 1tech we are going to draft.

im not talking about going just after stop gaps but signing at least one talented stop gap an offseason to fill holes they don't really want to draft early would be nice like 1tech or or even another guard seeing how much they have put into the interior of the line.

Exactly, and, even with our cap situation, I think our team is more than capable of signing stop gap players like Ngata, Peppers, or Freeney. Plus, considering the youth on this team, those stop gap players might be a good thing for our young players.

Yup, I think if we had him, we may have had Ngata which would have helped our defense.
