Reggie Bush of USC's line from last night. Great game. If you missed it then you missed one of the all time games.

23 carries, 294 yards, 12.8 ypc, 2 TDs

3 receptions, 68 yards, 22.7 ypc

1 punt return, 16 yards

7 kickoff returns, 135 yards, 19.3 ypr

Folks that is 513 yards, 362 yards from scrimmage.

Un-freaking-real. Hello Heisman Trophy.

I'd like to give credit to SALADIN for saying last year early in the year that Reggie Bush was the best player in the country. Long before anyone else was talking about him.

Questions to consider.

Heisman Trophy winners all have a vote in the Heisman race. Only 1 guy (Archie Griffin of Ohio State) in History ever won 2 Heisman Trophies.

If you were in Matt Leinart's shoes as the incumbent winner would you vote for yourself or your teammate?

How do you think Leinart will vote?

I think Leinart will vote for Reggie Bush.

Even active players have a vote ?

That seems unlikely.

Either way I cant imagine any scenario at this point that he wouldnt win. He has just been clutch and amazing all season.

I also cant imagine any team passing on him regardless of their talent at RB.

I believe all winners have a vote.

BTW, both years that Archie Griffin won I thought Tony Dorsett was better. Tony own his in his Senior year. I was thrilled that Dallas got him. When Tampa Bay took Ricky Bell I was shocked.

My how fate can smile on a team. I've always liked the Seahawks a little bit. I think it was because of that trade so we could get Tony.

Reggie Bush is more of a scat back (3rd down specialist) in the NFL. He will have a pretty productive career, but it could be short-lived as well.

I disagree. I understand exactly why you are saying this, but if W. Dunn can do it so can Bush.

He will be a lot like Dorsett and never really take a big hit. To quick and shifty.

I am not saying he will get the ball 35 times a game, but I think you can definetly give him around 18-20 carries and then line him up at receiver a lot like the Eagles use Westbrook.

No way he will just be a 3rd down back, way to dangerous to not find ways to always have him on the field.

I agree, he's only listed at 6 feet, 200 pounds... taller than JJo and not as heavy... I see him as a guy with the ability of a Warrick Dunn... Dunn came into the league when everybody thought he was too small, but he has proved his toughness right from the get go... Bush will have to do the same, or be that nickel back KO return specialist ala Desmond Howard...

I think the real question to consider is how many blue-state voters will be able to get over the fact that they are voting for Bush? :D :D

He runs with too much power to be a scat back.

Like Jimmy Johnson said, he's gonna be a Texan. Ugh. Now I have to hear it from those Houston fans if he ends up being the next Walter Payton.
