The key to improving this offense next year is getting Zeke in space, like McVay did all year with Gurley. Screens, bubble screens, flat passes, wheel routes. A staple of their offense is playaction run, and then screening it to Gurley. This tremendously stresses the LBs, who have to step up for the fake run, but then turn and drop quickly into their pass zones. This creates the running lane for Gurley. They run the same playaction and then run Gurley out to the flat. I have never understood with the athleticism that we have on OL, why we refuse to run screen passes to the RB. That must change. There is no reason that, with a little copycat of LAR system, Zeke cannot make a huge impact in the pass game next year. And that would open up the entire offense and make life easier for Dak.

McVay is the blueprint. I watched his pregame interview with Dungy he stressed the importance of involving their play maker in every facet of the offense early and often, run and passing game. We're lead by "if they're open they'll get it" drones, we need more creativity.

Both Zeke and his accuser are low character people so they both lacked credibility. Tebow and Wentz are extremely high character people so they would have 100% credibility so the NFL would have just closed the investigation quickly.

And that is the exact reason why the NFL should not be doing investigations. Plenty of innocent looking people have done terrible things and vice versa...so no, the NFL should not “close the investigation quickly” because they talk Christian in the microphone and just because a player likes to party does not mean he deserves a more intense investigation on if he beats women!

BTW you just said the accuser lacked credibility. Zeke admitted to drug use, not cocaine.

Plenty of priests/pastors were accused. Some were guilty as charged and some were falsely accused .

Suitable swing tackle, upgrade in speed at WR and TE, no suspension for Zeke, better play calling.

Do all that and the Cowboys are light years closer to that 13-3 from last year.

I agree; however, the Cowboys struggle to execute screens. They tried a screen in the last game and it was not even close to working. Dak had to just throw the ball away.

Sadly crap happens..... More sadly it happens to those that do crap more often. Case in point, You get caught speeding 15 miles over the speed limit. Since you have a clean record, you get off with a warning. After your first speeding ticket, anything else before those 2 years are up, you will be labeled and get another ticket. Before long something as simple as two speeding ticket labels you an habitual offender. Next thing you know you are being harassed for driving correctly because god forbid you live in a small town.
