I think Jerry is creaming in his pants for Tavon Austin to be honest with you, but there is no chance he will be available at 18 IMO and if we traded up to get him I would have to jump off a bridge (not because I don't love Austin's ability, I would love him here). Don't really understand all the speculation about Austin for us, if Jets, Panthers, or Rams don't pick him I would be shocked.

I think Fluker would be an excellent pick, but I dont think he makes it to 18.

I'm not even sure he would be the pick if he was there. But Fluker would start day 1 at Right Tackle or Right Guard even.

I don't think it's a given that he would start day 1, especially at RG, which is where I think his position would be for us.

If that happens it would be great for us. As you said, that just pushes someone down to us...plus it would tick off Giants fans as I think they want fluker.

That would be good for the Cowboys, but it would be dumb.

Is Fluker a better prospect than Phil Loadholt was in 2009? Both are big and strong, but slow-footed OTs that have no shot at being a Left Tackle.

Loadholt was drafted at R2-#22.

I wish this was true.He is not what we look for in a tackle and there is more than 80% chance he will go well above us.
