The Hail Mary Game

I was at that game, last game of the 1975 season. Clint Longley started that game at QB. It was like 17 degrees with much lower wind chill factor. I remember freezing myself numb. I recall Hollywood Henderson returning kickoffs. I recall Robert Newhouse had one of his best running games of his career, over 100 yards.

Regarding Too Tall Jones, he was the reason Everson Walls got so many INT's. The opposing QB's had to loft their passes much higher due to Too Tall's long arms in the air. Too Tall had the largest wingspan in NFL history. He played LDE because he was stronger against the run than Harvey Martin. If Harvey had not been there and Too Tall played RDE, he would have netted 15+ sacks every year. If he played in an attack defense instead of the Flex defense, he would have had many more sacks.
Yes! I froze, dont want to be graphic but going to the bathroom was very difficult, lol
Longely started, that was super disappointing to me
