The head shake... what do you think?

Not sure if there was any discussion yet. And I too am a little underwhelmed by TO realted antics.


But what did you think of Parcells head shake after the TD. I keep seeing it over and over. ALmost as much a part of the play as the TD xcatch...I guess. Bill looked amused to me....not too disgusted. :

That head shake very likely was about that being a broken play. Either that or he hated the play call. I doubt it had anything to do with Romo or TO.

...back to one of Parcells original comments after he had taken over the Cowboys. He said he really enjoyed and liked the kids, but it sure came across as if he didn't understand them.

THat would be my guess as to his bemusement. After the entire week of T.O.isms it ends with three TDs and showboating antics. It's probably hard for him to bridge the gap.

It wasn't a busted play. BP said, in today's PC, that it was a "slide" play. It was executed correctly.

That wasn't a broken play - that was the Jerry Rice Special - run him down the LOS and toss it to him, that was by design.

Maybe he was shaking his head because he was confused. He did not know that it was legal according to NFL rules for a W/R to catch 3 T/D's in a NFL game.

Slightly off topic, but did anyone notice ESPN's highlights where they insert JJ clapping wildly after one of TOs TDs?

Pretty funny the lengths they are willing to go to when JJ was actually clapping like that after a running play...
