then build a good roster. and extend Dak. what's the issue here? I don't get it?

and you still haven't provided one, not a single other option....but you tend to nag a lot

its time to take down the Romo poster off your bedroom Ceiling. he is not returning to football and Dak put him out to the pasture. the sooner you come to grips with that. the better off you will be.

There is no urgency on Dak to win.
The team could go 1-16 next year, and the owner/president/general manger and his idiot crowned prince would still have their jobs guaranteed for life.

They feel no urgency to draft or sign any qb to challenge or push Dak.

Given this, and the cap hit in the final year of his contract, Dak feels no urgency, and knows that he has the team under a barrel to extend him, probably at close to 60 million year.
I tend to agree that Jerry and his side kick have screwed this franchise....

I'd be so embarrassed to post a link from The Herd. To think that people actually get their sports news from him is just pathetic.
yeah, some have no shame...the funny thing is they quote him when it fits their argument and if he says the opposite and somebody else quotes him, the trash the same guy.

like I said, the Bash Dak over Dallas cult has no shame

Human nature, I guess. Hard to stay silent when some Troll says something dumb. Some of these guys seem happier when Dallas loses.
I guess for some . But if they keep saying the same and often identical dumb thing for years at what point do we ignore as silly and meaningless .

That’s the only way it goes away. Or at least fades away . It’s what the Mods have always told us but some never listen.

You know why his name is Colin Cowherd?

His colon is full of cow turd. Even his parents knew he was full of it when born….hence his name….

But our Dak haters can relate .…..:lmao:
I don’t blame Cowherd. I listen to him for years on way to work on ESPN radio.

Since he’s moved to Fox he’s changed his spill. It’s strictly focused on inciting responses and focusing on selling airtime. I guess the anti Cowboys crowd is entertained. I don’t follow him anymore.

At least Stephen A has the common courtesy to make it a complete circus with the cowboy hat and cigar when he talks about the Cowboys. Colin Cowherd is not "good stuff" as he likes to say.

Dak does not elevate the roster. That's why Zeke, Amari, and company got big contracts and Lamb will. It's a model that works as well.

There are a few posters here who are just like Colin.... in love with their own dumb pop culture reality TV takes.

I don’t listen to him anymore either, and when I did, it was not all the time.
I don’t care what he says actually. But my post was just having have over it.

Add another face.......there kinda pilling up aren't they now.

Lmao. Absolute crap take. 61-31 as a starter and won nearly 60% of his games.

His narrative needs to be, great regular season player, not great in the playoffs.

I'm not convinced Dak is truly invested in winning as much as some think. If he was he would have been embarrassed by all the INT's last season and would have done something to try and eliminate them. I don't think he did anything to try and improve his play at all last season.

What? These are professional athletes who are in the less than 1% of the world. Add in there are only 32 starting QB jobs.

He’s not Brady, Manning, Mahomes. But to say he doesn’t work on eliminating interceptions is crazy.

He is also playing against the best of the best.

I doubt he’s sitting on his couch right now eating BBQ and saying he doesn’t want to win. Any athlete in the NFL wants to win.

There isn’t a single bad thing people have ever said about his work ethic, leadership, will to win. He falls short because he is lesser talented than the very elite guys.

Here are some of his points
1) to win big you usually need the QB to be on a rookie deal or the QB to be a superstar. Cowboys have neither.
2) with Brady, Wilson, and Rodgers gone or retired, Dak is near the top of the NFC...so there is a brief window, before
3) NFC is going to be getting the next wave of great QBs (Willaims, Maye, et al) via the draft, so strike now.

They have Cooper Rush who is more than capable.

Teams don’t always have or need a Staubach / Craig Morton situation.

Did you feel it was necessary to draft a guy like Will Levis?
No he's not.
