Are you speaking Klingon?

No..I am an American...I speak American....or something like that. I think Scipio speaks Kingon though.

Very excited that Martin Freeman was cast as Bilbo.

Don't know if any of you watch the original BBC The Office, but he played Tim (British version of Jim) and is a great actor.

I really need to pick up that extended BluRay set and blow a weekend watching all three LOTR movies. It's been so long since I've seen them.

I hate 3d films. :(

I'm going to have to read the Hobbit again just before the movie comes out. It is still IMO better than any of the individual LotRs books. The only one I think that compares is The Two Towers.

Do you have the audio book of the Hobbit? I have it on cd and tape. Rob Inglis read the whole book word for word. I will listen to this audio book over and over again the whole time each of the films are playing at the theater.

Great pic, but they all don't look like dwarves. (Thorin, Kili, Fili, Ori, and Bofur) What is up with that?

Go back and read their descriptions in the hobbit ..... they were all very different in size and looks ...... definitely not 13 gimli's running around.

I know they were all different, but they were still dwarves. Kili looks like a human as does Thorin. You could never confuse the two. (dwarf and human) Dwarves are not only shorter (which next to other dwarves you couldn't tell height), but they are also far more healthy. (read thick) Kili looks like a bean pole in that picture.

The other characters I didn't name actually look like dwarves, yet still look different.

In this pic in the background he looks like a traditional dwarf.

I think they will all look Dwarvish in the movie ...... Kili and fili are very young ..... the other dwarves call them "short beards" and "empty bellied" hinting that they were skinny and without the glorious beards of older dwarves.

Bombour is spot on, though!

It's gonna be funny to see the dwarves try to lug him around through Mirkwood.
