Count me as one who is glad Del Toro backed out on this project. I was really worried he would go overboard as he tends to do. I loved Hellboy but then Hellboy 2 was just ridiculous. I think PJ will do a much better job on this.

I actually liked the Hobbit book better than LotRs. (even though I may be in the minority) I'm extremely excited about this movie, but I'm also extremely worried about them making it in 3D.

Hopefully they already have the kinks worked out as I don't want to get a headache every time I watch it.

From the video, it looks like Martin Freeman is playing Bilbo. That's awesome!

If any of you are fans of the original BBC "The Office" -- he played Tim (the British version of Jim) and is a great and very funny actor. Should be a great Bilbo!
