This is why Rush was 4-1 and the D was playing " great " . Dak only does half decent under the "hurry up " . But the downside is it Taxes our D big time . Especially , against top teams who run and wear us down . Not sure why we've gone back to it . Time will tell .

Well, they scored TDs on the first 4 possessions, so I'd call that better than "half decent".

Two minutes and one second left before halftime. I’m watching the game again. Wilson is horse colored thrown to the ground right in front of the referee. While the Bears quarterback runs 15 yards for a first down. They would have to make so many calls of holding against the Cowboys the other team would never move forward.

He liked my post, so I'm guessing that if you'd explained it, he would've understood. That said, you could just be from Canada, which is one of the countries that spells it that way. Actually, most countries spell it with a 'c', rather than an 's'.

It's a double edged sword....If you're moving the chains and getting points that's the best friend for a defense. They can play super aggressive if the offense is putting up points. After all if your offense puts up 40 who cares if you give up 30?

As a defense if you just get off the field and then your offense goes a quick 3 and out especially in hurry up mode you have some upset defenders. They've barely had time to talk through the blocking schemes, route combos, etc the offense is throwing at them and what adjustments they need to make.

The Cowboys have lost the time of possession battle pretty much every game this year, but the Bears game is the one that really didn't bother me. Take for example the Eagle game though and the extra time on the field absolutely destroys your defense when you really need a stop in the 4th quarter.

Well, that and the fact that the defense let the Bears keep the ball for a long time. Can't blame the ToP completely on the offense.

It was a classic case of the phrase........2/3 yards in the first quarter becomes 4/5 yards by the 4th. (lol)
