For the most part, I so believe that things are different in the Schotty era. But I'm not quite convinced we will run the table just yet. Don't know why...I might feel different if we beat the Lions.

Maybe I'm just too beat down by the 30 year curse. Too many times of falling for the This Time Will Be Different trap.

I want to believe because I do think this team is built the right way and going in the right direction. I can't think of anything else that could have been done since letting McCarthy go.

But I can't quite shake the uneasy feeling. What's it going to take?

There is no margin for error at this point, given the hole the team is in, so I believe you're right not to believe in the team totally. Even if we win out and get in, you know the narrative is that Dak can't win in the playoffs, and until he gets that monkey off his back, he still can't in my view... This team right now does seem different, but there is so much to overcome in my opinion... I have been pleasantly surprised, though with the trades and how Shotty has injected this team with belief.

One thing is for certain, though, I can't imagine other teams wanting to face this team right now.

I have a hard time believing that Dallas wins eight in a row, there will be a letdown in there somewhere. I am just glad we can play the playoffs scenario game at this point rather than looking at draft position.

I just think it's so big of a hole to dig out of,
winning 8 straight for a team that wasn't very consistent 4 weeks ago seems challenging. The additions no doubt have helped and maybe this is a team turning the corner, but I'm still cautiously optimistic.

Honestly I think of the FO is willing to be aggressive this off season. Along with the picks we have. The team can be ready to be a legit contender next year.
