Funny, I was just watching the other day and noticed how flimsy the bar is. Sam pounded on it and it bounced like 1/4" plywood. Hollywood props are crap.

I saw something about this auction a few days ago, it's gonna be a massive auction with a lot of really cool TV sets and props. Carons's Tonight Show set, Letterman's desk and set skyline from his NBC set, the living room set from 'All In The Family', including Archie's and Edith's chairs, Barbara Edens costume from 'I Dream of Jeannie', Marshal Dillon's badge and boots, the signpost from MASH, Dexter's kill table, the "cooking tools" from 'Breaking Bad' and so much other stuff.

The real Cheers bar in Boston, the bar is not even set up that way. It’s just this long bar not square like it is in the show
