...is the Eagles just don't match up well against the Cowboy's in much the same way the Cowboy's don't match up well against the Giants. Of course, Vick presents a whole new set of issues, but if the Cowboy's can maintain lane integrity and keep Vick from extending drives with his leg's, the Cowboys can force the Eagles into mistakes in much the same way they forced the Colts into mistakes. While there is nothing I would like more than to see Ware bury Vick into the ground, I think it's going to be important to actually encourage Vick to try and make things happen with his arm.

I realize that might sound crazy, but the Cowboy's secondary, in particular, matches up well with the Eagles receiving core. Small and quick. If the secondary can keep everything in front of them, and the LB's/DL can keep Vick in the pocket, he will eventually make mistakes. And as opportunistic as the defense has been, lately, I'd try and keep that trend running. I don't think the Cowboy's can beat the Eagles with an aggressive approach. The sad fact we as fans have to accept is the Cowboy's just do not have the personnel to be aggressive. If Spencer or Butler could match Ware's ability, completely different story.

Well, I haven't been this excited for a game in a long time. Mainly, because I'm taking my nephew to his FIRST-EVER Cowboys' game....against the Eagles. I can't wait!!

The two youts agree.

The only problem with that is that if the front 7 doesn't show up to stop the run first, we are going to struggle mightily.

ESPN had an article on this the other day how the GM from the Eagles drafted and went through FA for the sole purpose of matchingup with the Cowboys since the Cowboys beat them 3 times last year. The artilce stated that it had the Cowboys roster and depth chart up on a big board and the Eagles roster and depth chart next it. The Giants and Commanders roster was not up. I think Tim McMhon wrote the article.
